A heated outdoor pool, four lighted tennis courts and fitness room are available to guests. The golf course starts out narrow but gets more scenic with more elevation changes later in the round.Facts

Overall good
Can usually fin a decent tee time on weekends,
Course overall is good shape
Only thing bunkers are hard packed not soft
Pretty poor conditions
Course was in rough shape. A lot of bare spots and rough tees. Carts were pretty rough as well. Brakes wouldn’t lock and they had acceleration problems. The cart GPS was borderline obnoxious. The staff was very friendly. Pace was amazing, we finished in just under 4 hours.

Not associated with Pala Resort / Casino
Paid $90, was worth closer to $50. No frills, sun blasted, easier course IMO, lots of tough par 4’s, the food blows, fairways are fighting the sun, and the rough is deep fescue. Played well here none the less. Don’t pay more than $50 tho.

Expensive for the conditions
I’ve played here a few times and I’m not sure if it’s just the season but the greens were miserably bumpy and inconsistent. Too much poa annua not being maintained properly to charge $80+ for a weekend round

Good course, great staff
Nice challenging course with a good staff. Summer weather has made an impact on some of the fairways, but greens are in great shape and overall a solid run.

Nice layout, fair condition
For Pala, the course was average...have seen it a little worse and several years ago, much better. Fairways have burned out areas, moveable sprinklers running on multiple fairways, sometimes stopping the rollout of a drive when the ball runs into it. Greens were medium and generally rolled ok. ProShop was downsized even from last fall. An infusion of cash and a skilled superintendent would bring this course back into great shape in a minute. Bunkers were hard dirt/sand.

This course has the best bang for the buck as always. If you can’t drive it straight out of the tee box, you’re in for one. But if you can, you’ll never go to another course with the same price range. Love it. Will continue to play here

The course has relaxing nature feel and views
The course is maintained well, may vary during different seasons. Not cheap unless you are open for discounted days/times. It is now one of my favorite courses to play.

Mark the course please
It’s very irritating that you have to guess where the course does not want you to drive the carts. There are numerous places that the carts will suddenly stop because you have drive into a forbidden zone. How about simply marking the course so that the pace of play isn’t affected by people ha if to back carts out of these areas?. And the constant ads and warnings about blind spots or hills or whatever. It’s like the course thinks that every player is three years old or drunk. Have a little confidence in people that they can negotiate the course without all the warnings and sudden mysterious out of bounds popping up all the time.

Nice course
The only negative I had for this course was the GOS system on the carts. They wouldn’t let you on most of the fairways without the cart shutting down. Wouldn’t be a big problem except there are no signs marking the restricted fairway areas. We spent a lot of time backing up off the fairways
