Save your money
The course is the worst run course I’ve ever seen. They sent me out as a single with two 15 year old kids and two younger kids as spectators in a cart. The spectators had no idea about golf etiquette. Then they quit after 9 which left me alone on a busy Sunday. The guy in the proshop was insulted I complained. I left my phone number and email address for whoever is in charge to call me and I never heard from anyone.

It is in a beautiful setting!!
It does have enough challenges for all golfers.
The weather was perfect and the course wasn’t busy which allowed us to finish in 3 hours and 20 minutes!!
The course was in Great condition!!

THE WORST MANAGED COURSE EVER
They sent out two 14 year olds and two 13 year olds as spectators who had no idea what etiquette is. Played with the cart putting it in reverse in middle of my back swing over and over. Driving almost on the greens. When I complained at the turn the staff was insulted that I complained. I left my email & phone number for whoever is in charge there and never received a response. SAVE YOUR MONEY THERE’S GREAT COURSES CLOSE BY.
Don’t tell the people before they sign up that there is a massive kid tournament playing
Pala Mesa is a really nice course in decent condition, which is now charging a lot more to play… The big problem is when you host the junior world champions and you don’t tell people signing up for a teatime that that is happening and they jam players in behind it It’s like watching paint dry… But at least you have all the helicopter parents wandering around or kids running into bunkers to play in the sand when you’re trying to hit up because their sibling is playing… Super disappointed.
Great shape & staff
Played after 3 JC courses and was in best shape compared to those; the greens were all great and the fairways cleaned of leaves.. the staff were great...
