I had a blast at the course, it was the day before The Monterey City Championship were to start. The course was in great condition and the greens were smooth and quick. The weather was beautiful as well.

Always love this course. Played twice during the last week of June and the course is in absolutely perfect condition as you’d expect.

The greens are lightning fast, especially downhill. They roll pure and are trickier than they look. Make sure to look at the shot from all angles. Or better yet rely on a seasoned caddie to help out. My caddie Mitch is one of the best in the business with 20 plus years experience and has that perfect combination of technical skills (green reading, ball spotting) and personality. I’ve been using him for about 4-5 years now.

Fairways at Spyglass Hill are immaculate. As perfect as you can imagine.

Sand traps are also in top form with a perfect amount of fluffy white sand.

It’s always a pleasure to play here and though fees have increased, you get what you pay for.

This is a very lovely golf course and is in great shape. The sand traps have really soft white sand that you would expect to see at Pebble Beach. There are lovely trees, some changes in elevation, and fairways and greens are in great shape. Playing early on a weekday, I was able to finish in 2:20.

Pace of play was slow. Back up of 3 groups on every par 3. Otherwise, great fun to have played this course.

SHUT UP when I'm on the Tee. Got paired with a Threesome. Talking when I'm on the Tee. Disrespectful.

I played the day before the Monterey City Championships and the course was in beautiful condition with the greens being a little bumpy but in great condition. Hats off to the greens keeper for getting them ready for tournament play. .

Seems EVERY TIME I get paired with people, they have NO ETIQUETTE, People, SHUT UP when I'm on the tee and putting. IT'S NOT THAT HARD.

Course was so pure. Greens rolled like crazy and the bunkers were beautiful 10/10

I love this course.

Greens are quick, undulating, and run true. On most greens if you are above the hole you are in trouble. Sand traps are often deep and fronted by heavy vegetation. My only criticism is that some sand is soft and amenable to hitting behind the ball. Many others have a hard base and cause your sand wedge to bounce.

The fairways were immaculate and generous, except for a couple with a tree right in the middle. Not sure why. Very scenic and also very walkable.

Enjoyed the course immensely! If your irons to the greens are accurate you can score. If not, well, it's still fun!!!

Del Monte is a good layout with small fast greens. The course is in excellent shape. It’s a must play when you’re in the area.

The pro shop was vey pleasant and friendly.

Golfed on fathers day weekend behind a kids tournament that was scheduled there. Dont know why there would be a tournament scheduled for that weekend which made the pace 6hrs 30mins. Yes let me repeat 6hrs and 30 mins. In 35 years of playing never had to play a 6 he 30 min round. People just started walking off the course.

The course was in beautiful condition and the greens were fast and true. I wish more golfers would fix their divots both on the greens and on the fairways. They give us the seed and sand in the bottles on all the carts, just use them.

The course was in FANTASTIC SHAPE. The Greens were beautiful and fast. Thanks for keeping the course up So Well. I can’t wait to return.
