Best bang for the buck//course was in great shape as usual//teed off at 240p and finished by 6//not exactly an easy course but easy to find your ball on errant shots which speeds up the pace of play//greens are fair as long as you’re not above the hole//

My foursome enjoyed your first round at Del Monte Golf Club. We have played the majority of the courses in the Monterey, CA area and feel Del Monte measures up well and offers a great value. The staff was nice and helpful. The pro shop and other amenities are basic. The course was in good/great shape, especially the greens. The only "nit" I would have is with the bunkers as we found many of the bunkers did not have enough sand towards the center of them. The course layout was varied and interesting. It is a fairly wide open golf course, although out-of-bounds can be found on the outer boundary of it. We would recommend this course to others.

This is a great course in excellent condition. Staying below the pin is a must here! A lesson learned the hard way.

The only negative is the lack of a driving range

Maybe a few hitting bays to loosen up?

I must say, the Course is great! The Staff makes it exceptionally much better! Donn who checked me in, Christian was pleasant, helpful and friendly. The Grounds Staff were friendly and courteous. The F&B Staffer was attentive and there when we needed something. Beverage pricing is high, but I understand. The selection and cleanliness of the Beverage Cart is great. The Course Restrooms were clean and well maintained.

I'd wanted to play this course for a long time and wasn't disappointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful (felt like we were getting that Pebble Beach service). Course is a nice layout, in excellent condition, and quite challenging around the greens. Bring your A rated short game and approach shots for sure. A good value with the Golf Now Hot Deal. Not sure I would ever pay full price here.
