Great Course in the Valley
First time paying this course, but all four of us loved it!
great shape and very fun considering we had just played all the fantastic beach courses at Carmel!
Definitely on our list to play again.
The golf course was in superb condition and the greens were running true all day. We had an 8:24 tee time and were off the course before 11:30. It was also nice to play in cooler weather as we traveled from Livermore to play. Still have issues with courses not allowing us to remove pins but other than that it was a great experience
Smoke
We had to cancel due to the Carmel fire smoke creating unhealthy air and poor visibility. The pro shop staff Anthony and Chad were very informative and understanding. We played the corse last week and was in pristine condition and I highly rec. playing it.
Amazing
What a beautiful course. Definitely want to play again
Excellent time
My husband and I played this course for the first time today and we had a great experience. The course is in great shape, sponge like greens, lots of traps, beautiful scenery. The Marshall, Carl, was such a personable, friendly and helpful man. You should be proud to have this outstanding man on your team. We liked our experience that we are returning in a week. Thanks everyone. Suzi and rick
Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Pro shop staff was very friendly and helpful
Course is beautiful and in primo condition. Greens perfect held shots well and very little break but true!!! Fairways and course aesthetics were really nice. Beautiful place. Highly rec.
Best Monterey Bay area has to offer!
Played here on a slow afternoon during the covid era and haven’t played a course in better shape to date. Greens were true and held great. Fairways were pristine and you were rewarded for being on the short grass. Some homes throughout the course but immaculate views and a little warmer than some of the other courses in the area on the water. A must play if visiting the Carmel/Monterey Bay Area.
Stop reading these reviews and book a time at this course, you will not regret!
Picturesque
The course is spectacular with manicured fairways and rough leading to perfect greens and bunkers. The beautiful Carmel Valley hillside surrounds you with its majestic moss covered tree line and mountains create an amphitheater for golf.
Beautiful Course
The course is located in one of the most beautiful valleys in all of California. The course is exceptional from tee to green. Terrific views from the tee boxes, fairways well manicured and tightly knit, and green were both receptive yet smooth and fast. I’ve played some of the best courses in America, from Winged Foot to Riviera, and this is one of the best courses for the price. As long as the wind doesn’t blow too hard, you’ll love your round at Quail Lodge!
Beautiful conditions, nice layout. I’ll play it again soon
Beautiful course in excellent shape
The fairways and greens were some of the best I've played on. The course was extremely soft feeling beneath my feet in both the fairways and greens. The course played very fair and challenging. The wind was tough which made the back tees play much tougher than the yardage. The fairways next to the green were perfect to chip from.. overall a great experience and would be happy to play again. The older starter was not very welcoming or helpful which was disappointing being this was my first time at the course. The other employees were friendly and accommodating.
