Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage

The amount you are paying for this course which for the most part is great and then have some bunkers with zero sand and clay bottoms. Also no ball washers. Apart from that a great course. But it rankled to be paying those prices and not having all bunkers playable.

A beautiful course on a beautiful day, well laid out and very well taken care of this is a A+ course I would recommend it !

Looking forward to a picturesque, high quality round but disappointed. Parking far away from bag drop and course even farther away, by cart, from pro shop. Pro shop looks like a shop in the hotel lobby. Poor practice facility. Staff too casual in dress and demeanor at pro shop. Gave us no info on where to go, how the facilities were laid out, or what to expect. No snack shop open. Course was dry and fairways not watered well.

Paid much less for a better round at a lesser course several times earlier in the week.

Not worth the $$$.

For the price, this course should be pristine. It’s not. Bunkers in particular. Better options in the valley.

Course is a fun course to play much more hillier than I would expect.

Positives:

Nice layout

Good diversity

Easy to get around

Pace of play

Negatives:

Ground was a little firm so not as plush as expected

Sand traps in bad shape not enough sand, but it seems like all traps around Palm Springs this time of year

Overall very much enjoyed the round, very fun to play and used almost all my clubs in bag, definitely recommended

Nice course but have to play late in the day due to pricing. Golf in general is pricing themselves out so only the elite financially rich can play.

Played here many times very nice, but this time they had 2 tournaments out and the pace was ridiculous so I quit after 10, still hoping to recoup some of my $180.00 to play, which is ridiculous.

Service was poor and ignored customers. Won’t return to this course.

Course was not in very good shape and fairways had a lot of bad grass and tee boxes were really dry.

Considering time of year and Valley was closed for reseeding Palms was only option.

Too expensive for poor course conditions and they should offer discount pricing during this time of year.

Course was on poor condition. Weeds growing on tee boxes and bunkers. Looks like they’re delaying or postponing needed maintenance prior to oversees shut down. Cashier was stuffy maybe because I didn’t book directly??? Guy spiffing up clubs at the end was the nicest off all people I encountered.
