Punched greens
At the time of booking, there was no notification that the green were punched. If there was a notice, I would have not made a reservation. Way over priced for having punched greens. Give it about 2 more weeks and it might be ready to play.
Fun lay out, decent shape.
Very fun course lay out. Challenging greens (just coming back from aeration), can see the challenge with more speed. For a course set in a neighborhood one does not really get affected by the houses, all the views are of a golf holes.
Greens punched/ No advanced notification
The people were amazing, very friendly. Course was “alright” but what made it horrible was the conditions of the greens. I wasn’t notified in advance that the greens had been punched. Made for a wasted round of golf.
Overall good conditions
Good fairway, course layout but difficult green undulation
Weekday Round
Still coming back from the heavy rains. Greens were super fast and hard.
Good Course, A bit out there, Good Exp
This feels like a retirement course/resort. The course is well-maintained for the most part. Green was pretty fast and hard. Some interesting holes with fun challenging bunker setups. Overall a good experience. Would have liked to see a beverage cart and possibly more facilities around the course, but that wasn't a major issue. Around 15/16 you drive off course and signage is a bit rough but we figured it out eventually.
San V
Greens are spectacular roll true and fairly quick for a municipal course. Bunkers are soft and clean, Fairways are in decent shape, tee boxes are flat.
Pace of play pretty slow due to the large population of elderly golfers. Afternoons tend to get filled up with the local community walking out or driving out on the golf course. Staff is friendly, the restaurant is great.
Good to play in sunshine
Great day after raining so much lately. Finished in 4 hr 15 min. Great for a Sunday afernoon.
Good Course But....
Course conditions very tough right now, fairways and fringe areas are dormant and greens are very fast so it makes for a very difficult round. The biggest issue I have with this course is their battle with Golf Now to sell tee times. If you book through Golf Now you are treated as as second class citizen. I had asked if we can move up our tee time due to rain in the forecast and there were open tee times. Pro shop said I had to cancel my tee time with GN, which was prepaid and non refundable, and pay them! The last time I played the course a guy in front of me in pro shop also had an issue with his GN tee time and they told him to call GN! To make matters worse, their online booking reservation system is terrible so until they figure out how to correctly book tee times I will not play this course again.
