Shadow Mountain Resort & Club

Fun day at the Players. Greens rolling well but challenging for our group to make putts

This course is very playable for all abilities. Overseeding has been done and fairways are still growing in. Tight and sparse in some places. Greens have been over seeded also and were very hairy and slow! Extremely slow but they do roll true. For the price I would play here again. Good layout.

Pick up at club drop was very slow and disinterested

Like they were doing you a favour

Slow green

Overall bad experience

Money is not worth it.

Don’t waste your money

We had a fun time and the Resort course was perfect for teaching my wife’s Boss how to

Play.

We recently played this course and were disappointed with our experience. During our round, PGA staff were taking measurements throughout the course and were constantly in our way. On the first hole, we were assured that we would barely notice them, but they were around us the entire time. When we raised this issue with the clubhouse, we were informed that no manager was available. We were promised a callback, but that never happened.

Greens were poor. Not grown in well and bumpy. Fairways were also poor. Needed more water to get the grass thicker. The ball often laid on the bare ground. Will not go back in these conditions

Recommend - No “tournament practice rounds”allowed during public play times. Mixing regular single shot players with wanna be pros playing multiple shots per hole is a bad idea and should not be permitted. Club was sympathetic of this situation this week upon challenging them to refund. But the day was spoiled by selfish wanna be players. Understand if the course closes pre tournament for aspiring players. Just don’t surprise us regular players with such slow playing practices. Thanks.

Very good overall experience, starting from valet parking service, launch monitors at every practice range station, course was great shape, cart girl was friendly and had sandwiches and hotdogs.
