Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa

Considering it's overseed season in the desert, the course was in good shape. Greens were excellent; fairways were cut very close so thin shots were not out of the question especially in the approach areas. Pace of play was terrible on the front nine...about 2hr 45min...but the pace picked up on the back and we were able to finish in about 4hr 15min. No marshal on the course at all. What's really poor service is the bag drop. A twosome had been waiting for a while for the shuttle to come; we called and waited and then called again because now there were 8 people w/bags at the bag drop waiting to be picked up. Of course, the shuttle couldn't accommodate all in one trip. Very poor service in this regard, and the driver seemed slow and "out of it" like he didn't know what he was doing. Anyway, I would have never tipped him, but my husband is nice and did tip for the poor service.

The minute you get to the property you are met with an enthusiastic member of their team. Your clubs, cart and all pre golf needs are dealt with. The starter is with you from bag dropping of until tee off and let's you know everything you need to have a great round of golf. The course was nearly perfect. The only draw back would be the greens were hard as it was in the middle of the dry season. Once I figured those out all was great. Fabulous day of golf!

They are getting ready to close for overseeding in a couple days. Fairways were a bit bare as can be expected. We were told the greens were great. They were only OK.

It was a hot day, no beverage cart. No ice on the course. They did have two ice water dispensers but all four of us agreed the water tasted so bad it was undrinkable.

I played the week previous and was excited to take my 3 out of town guests as the course was in great shape. Very disapointing.

Free driving range. Friendly staff. Conditions were very good. Quick pace of play. 4/15.

Love the course layout, challenging greens, and how greens fees/tee times are reasonable and accessible. Will be back, recommend for diehard golfers trying to get an early 18 in to beat the heat.

We enjoyed our round - getting out early to beat the heat. Pro shop team was helpful with set up and club rental and everyone was very friendly, especially valet parking attendant who drove us to pro shop.

Better than I expected with the upgraded renovations. Nice course layout. Will play again for the weekday rate.

New to golf. Wasn’t to difficult that it wasn’t fun. Love this course would definitely play again

Played this course on Memorial Day. The layout remains strong, but the course conditions were horrible. The bulk of the fairways were fine and the greens rolled fine; however, the rough, in-between areas, and areas around the greens were full of crabgrass & unsightly weeds. Some of the greens had some dead areas around them as well. I hate making this review because I really like the course, but the current owners need to get it back up to par. And for goodness sake, finish the darn clubhouse! I will give this course at least 6 months before playing again.

Nice course, not overly tight, pretty flat, a course you can score on ,good conditions for mid September

We had a great experience playing this course, apart from the temperature, which we couldn’t control. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. The deep contoured bowls added a unique challenge if you get off the fairway. A beautiful setting with the mountain background at the horizon.
