Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa

Course was in decent shape but a fertilizer mistake ruined all of the greens. All of the grass was dead. Course is shutting down because of it.

Stay away. The greenskeeper accidentally killed all the greens and they are unplayable.

No warning of the conditions was given when I booked..

I tried to play but left after three holes.

I can’t complain given the price I paid. The course was in good shape except for the greens; it was like putting on crisp bacon. With automatic 2-puts, it was a fun round of golf.

Great course, great layout. Unfortunately, the greens were chemically destroyed?? Staff made us aware of it. Had a good time, will have to wait a while to play again, they’ll be closing next month for greens repair?

This golf course has the Greatest numbers of water stations out of all courses we played golf on. Fun course, we ended up playing on it couple of times. We'll be back there.

The greens here have been decimated by a problem with the application of fertilizer. They are unputtable. The rest of the course is fine.

We have played this course three times in the last week and are absolutely amazed by how inviting the staff is. Levi, Mark, and Christine make you feel so welcome. They explain what is happening with the course conditions each time we played. It’s unfortunate that the course will be closed as of April 30 for much repair work needed on the greens. The other unfortunate part is the staff will be laid off for three months. Very sad.

The greens on this course were the worst that I have ever played on. The greens were mostly dry and cracked dirt with a little bit of grass. However to be fair, the fairways and tee boxes were in good condition. I heard someone say that the course is going to close for 3 months so that they can fix the greens. I wish I had known that before I decided to play here.

The Good; Great staff! Tee Boxes and Fairways wonderful. Great golf course. Tremendous Value for the Price! Still worth a play!

The Bad: Poor Putting Greens were accidentally tortured. Still fun, but not green grass.

The Ugly: The putting greens will need to be repaired/replaced.

We had no idea the greens were unplayable until we were told at the course. All 18 greens had been over fertilized right before a 108° day. The cart guy said "well they are still running true...hardly!" What is really bad is that TeeOff never knew or just never shared this with their customers. We booked a Hot Deal 🔥 for 54.99 each, which would have been a bargain at the Mission Hills Pete Dye golf course, but was an absolute rip-off. The course & TeeOff should be ashamed of duping the public. I should have demanded my money back but their was hardly any staff available to confront, due to hardly anyone on the course. We are really frustrated!

We played the course a couple of days ago so we’re aware of the greens condition. The rest of the course was in great shape.

I heard the place isn’t getting the foot traffic they need to continue. I’d recommend coming and playing this track. Very fun.

Great course layout. Even better price. I will play here everytime.

buyer beware - the greens are shocking, literally playing in dried mud - fairways look pretty but feels like you are playing off concrete - the greens make it unplayable

If putting on greens that resemble the surface of the moon is your idea of fun, this is your course. We were unaware that a greens keeper F’d up royally and applied a chemical solution to the greens during the extreme heat of March. Needless to say…NO BUENO!!! A worthy track, but save it for next year. I wouldn’t play it again for free.
