Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa

The course was in very poor condition. Fairways had a very skimpy overseed. Greens were very good but so hard you couldn't hold a sand wedge. Off the fairways was basically nothing but dirt. A fair price might be around $50 not $150. People in the snack bar were rude. The starter was very polite and helpful. These were the worse conditions I've ever played in the desert during my 30 years of playing in the desert/

We played at 7:28. The pratice range are verry nice. The course was in great shape and the green are nice. Great value for the price.

Bought a hot deal for $92, playing at noon on a Tuesday. To start things off I have to state that I was really looking forward to playing this course and was hoping that I would love it. Unfortunately, that didn't turn out to be the case. While the fairways were in good shape I was not impressed with the ruff which consited of burnt grass and quote a bit of dirt mounds. The tee boxes were decent but littered with broken tees. I think it was the first course I have been to in PS that did not have a cup or bin to put your broken tees, consequently people just left them lying around. The greens had numerous ball marks which had not been repaired and the sand traps were not great (some missing rakes). I have played a number of courses in the area over the past month and this is the first sub average review I have left. Ameneties at the course were also not really worthy of a course that costs so much to play. On the positive, the staff were excellent to deal with. Very friendly and helpful. As a price comparrison I have played the Dessert Princess a couple of times and feel that is a much all round superior course.

Keep an eye on the GPS screen, there are a couple lakes that are not visible ( but reachable) from the tee. Many long par fours from the tips.

The check in process was a bit hectic … we were told our threesome could go to the first tee anytime we wanted, and then a starter came down and disrupted the order as we were about to tee off. After that, the round was great. Course was in good shape and we enjoyed the round.

This course has a great layout and is fun to play. It's challenging enough, but still fair. If you're all about a fancy clubhouse and ritzy restaurant experience, this course isn't for you, but if you like to golf it's great!

Slowest greens in the city. Putted like Velcro. No beverage cart service that day and no one told us before teeing off.

Checking elsewhere you’ll find better layouts, much better rolling greens and better amenities.
