Bonaventure Resort & Spa

This course has been experiencing some tough years, but they have made some much-needed improvement and are continuing to do more. Bunkers or re-sanded with fresh sand. Tea boxes are nice. Fairways are clean. Only minor drawback is some of the green still need a little bit of work, but overall very good value for the money and the layout is a little more challenging than most. Will definitely be coming back.

You can see the work that has been put into this golf course. If it continues, they can restore it to what it once was.

I was able to play today even though we had several brief showers blowing thru. All the tee boxes are open after some recent improvements.

Compared to other courses at this time of year Bonaventure was in pretty good shape. The layout is good but pace of play on this day was brutal. We waited on almost every hole but that was due to a group of newbies who were all over the place and really slow. Would have been nice to have a marshal out there to move them along or out

Super friendly staff. Course needs to be better maintained. Lose way too many balls in open sight. Greens are also pretty rough on some holes. For $65 this time of the year, you’d expect better course conditions.
