Greens or Sandtrap
Grand Palms is 3, 9 hole courses, that have wide fairways and small greens. It is always a good day when you are playing golf but the unfortunately, the greens were so bad.
The greens were either patchy and missing whole sections of grass, or covered in sand and rolling the ball was an unforeseen challenge. I am normally a 10-12 handicap and golf 3x a month. These are the worst greens I’ve been on in over 30 years of playing golf. I hate to write this, but they were terrible.
Horrible greens and fairwaysb
Played here a few months ago the greens and Fairways was looking good. Now it so poor. Should be 10.00 to play here.
Theft
Don't go. The absolute worst course conditions in S.Florida. most of the greens are scalped. Zero ability to putt
From Bad to Worse
I don’t know what’s going on or what the challenges are, but don’t play Grand Palms. It was horrible for a few months, then it got a little better, and now is really bad. I don’t recommend it at all.
Horrible Conditions
Don't waste your time/money. I've never seen greens this bad in my life. Tee boxes and fairways are only slightly better than the greens. I don't know what's going on at this course, but it's gone downhill fast. $40 is too much. It's literally "hit and hope" on the greens due to how patchy/bumpy each green is. I wish I took pictures because it's hard to describe how poor everything looks. Played Sabal/Grand if that matters (but I doubt Royal is any better).
course had a lot of rain
all the rain was evaporating but still some mushy spots, the greens r holding for the most part but there r some blemishes
Rip OFF
This course is absolutely a rip off at the moment. They charge $50 in the afternoon for a $25 course. The 85% of the greens are sand and weeds and the other 15% are weeds and dirt. The sand bunkers are full of rocks so you actually have to pull your ball out unless you want to damage your expensive clubs. The T boxes pretty much look like an abandoned house’s front yard. I just find it ridiculous that they charge what they charge for the condition of the courses. If I paid $20 I wouldn’t have written this review.
Terrible greens
Greens are in really bad condition…impossible to putt
Not well maintained
I went for Memorial Day weekend with my brother. The price was great, but the course was not well maintained at all. There was trash on the course, not all the fairways were trimmed. However I liked the layout of the courses and how you could play 9 holes at a time.
Great condition
Out of all the course $50 or lower. Grand palms have the best greens conditions
