Condition of greens appalling
Yes, there had been torrential rain the week before, however, the greens were unplayable because they were pockmarked with circular depressions radius 4 to 6 inches where rogue grasses of nut sedge had been poisoned by herbicides. The rain may have washed away sand and grass seed used to fill the depressions, but no-one explained that before our round. No explanations were given and no apologies offered.
We love this course, long, difficult especially for players in their eighties. And we appreciate that the rainstorms of last week the real culprit, but I do think that some explanation would have been polite.
Just WOW
For the money I paid was not worth it! You can definitely find better places to play for same price and even cheaper! This course is by far the worst course I’ve played on! The greens were unplayable can not putt!!! Someone need to buy this course and give it some love it’s in a prime location, golf galaxy isn’t to far from it, this place should be rocking and fun to play instead just a disappointment
Has great potential but horrible greens
We played the Sabal and Royal courses and loved the layout and fairway conditions. But the greens were horrible. They were covered with dead patches in cup size circles that looked like someone tried to poison weeds. Pretty much unplayable with the ball rolling from grass to dead patches on the way to the cup, bouncing unpredictably. We were by new management that the greens will be repaired in a month. With good greens? this is a 4 star course.
Horrible conditions
The greens looked as it hail fell the night before and left divots all over on ever hole. You could not get a feel for a putt since it need to pass by what seemed like snow moguls to get to the pin. The tee box’s were also in bad shape. The grass looked like it hadn’t been cut in weeks. Just absolutely horrible. I’ve played here many times and it’s never been this bad. Will not be coming back. I used to think Bonaventure was bad but this took the lead.
Grand Palm review.
The golf course has potential. It is a shame that they have let it run down. I used to love going there but it is in bad shape. All 18 holes putting green in royal and sabal were not able to putt. I will not go back there again.
I’ve been playing there for 20 yrs. I haven’t played there in a year and was very surprised at how poor conditions are. Every single green was chopped up with divot marks covering the entire green. Dead grass and small debris. The course is unplayable as you cannot putt. You might as well take a stroke off every hole. It’s a shame because it used to be my go to course.
Unplayable
I took a guest. Big mistake. The course is a goner. It is impossible to putt because of the holes and bare spots on the greens. The rough had not been cut in weeks. All in all the place is a disaster. I do not think that Golf Now should not offer this course!
Unplayable
Greens looked like someone practiced their wedge shots on them. I played 3 holes and left. It is robbery that they are even open. Will be contacting golf now for a refund.
Unplayable
I booked a round online and showed up to play and the greens are unplayable. It looks like someone practiced wedge shots on every green. I left after 3 holes. I wish there was a way to get a refund when booked online. Do not play here
Surprised by conditions on this course, being Pembroke Pines
The course was in terrible conditions with large weeds, high grass and holes on the greens. I expected better course with million dollar homes at Gran Palms in Pembroke Pines
Patchy greens
The greens were nothing but brown patches soo many .
Maybe two holes had good greens.
DONT PLAY HERE
This course used to be good but now the greens are like and grass range, divots everywhere you just cant put and the tee boxes are horrible just dont waste your money here a course 100 times better is pembroke lakes golf, 60 dollars and one of the top courses i have played.
