Always enjoyable
Always enjoy playing here. Greens were good. Course in good shape. Be back again next year.
Saw Gators
The staff was friendly, the course was in good shape, we got to see a couple of alligators and were very happy about that. Our only complaint would be not enough bathrooms along the course (unless we just missed them.) Would play here again.
A little overpriced. Pace was 4:45. Would come back but at lower price
Bring a helmet ⛑
The tee boxes are so close to the prior green and in direct line with the prior green that you risk getting hit by a over shot of the last green on this nine hole course . But it was in immaculate condition and greens were fast .
Not a good one time course, tiny tiny tiny greens
If you’re visiting the area looking to play golf, this is not a good “only play once” course. There are so many hidden ponds that even when you hit an incredible shot, you’ll likely walk over the fairway mounds and find you’re all wet.
Now, if you’re staying local and plan on playing a few times, then it might be worth it.
The other downside is the postage stamp size greens. I mean, I’m on vacation! I like a little larger greens and something I can actually hit. I’m an 8 hdcp and I must have putted 8 times from just off the greens. Very frustrating to have a great approach shot turned into anger.
Just my thoughts.
Busy time of year
All as expected. Bever expect a quick 18 in Florida between Christmas and Easter. Played the Reserve many times and love the design. Good condition considering the wear and tear.
Simply great
Awesome track. Starting on #8 the course just gets better and better.
Big G
Nice course for the money. Very convenient. Easy to play.
Fun nine
The course offers a chance to use all your clubs. Some holes require strategic ball placement while others require finesse. Unfortunately a few of the greens seem to suffering from a plague of sorts. Large black spots decorate the surface of the greens. As one would expect in February, the fairways were very short resulting in tight lies.
A shout out to the pro shop staff, cart guys and starter for being helpful and just plain nice.
Not a bad course. But difficult to find
I missed my tee time by 3 minutes and pushed me back a half an hour. Difficult to find you pay for your round in the marketplace.
Sad
My family and I come here every year but it’s gotten worse and worse. The staff is friendly, but the starter was too lazy to pair twosomes together properly which caused major slowdowns on the course. Then there were several 5somes which made it worse. I called the pro shop. The first call was answered by a young lady who said she was only setting teeX then hung up on me as I requested a ranger. The second call was answered by the pro shop who said he’d come out to observe the issue, but he never did. 5 1/2 hour round! We’ll never go back. Course was in average shape, greens were quality!
Fun experience to play in the dark
I've wanted to play this course at night time for a while and finally got the chance to see it. The course was in decent shape and the layout was actually pretty challenging, I was expecting more of a pitch and putt but it was pretty long and challenging from the back tees.
The downside to the round was the 5some that I started behind and then the group of 10 that we caught up to. It's too bad that these people had no care for others on the golf course and took 30 minutes to play each hole. I ended up skipping the last hole because they were having putt offs on the last green and there was nobody there to stop them. It's too bad that some crappy people ruined the experience for me and the others that were out there behind them..
A bit wonky
Greens and tees in poor condition. Villas are lined up on every fairway. Villa are not attractive. Staff were friendly and competent. All said, the green fees are not high and most likely matches the course quality.
Had booked hot deal tee time online about 2 weeks before flying to Orlando. We had to change accommodations that day so I had to cancel the tee time. I called the course and cancelled 2 days before. They said to call customer support at golf now. GolfNow doesn’t have anyone anymore to take your call and discuss your unique situation but instead a recording tells you to edit your reservation online. My reservation did not appear online although a previous one did so I had no way of informing GolfNow of my problem. The whole focus at present seems to be encouraging everyone to buy the Golf Pass. Is my prepaid green fees for two plus fees and tax to be refunded at least in part even though the course knew 48 hours before of the cancellation? Shouldn’t there still be someone to talk to?
Played at 7:09 and our twosome flew through the thing. Course was good, not great. Very playable, with some challenges. Greens in the front had some rough spots, but mostly good. Fun round with my brother in law, but I'm glad we went out early, as pace of play looked to be sitting dramatically.
Expected Better
Regular price would have been $94 - this is NOT a $94 course! We got spoiled playing most courses down here with overseeded rye fairways, which were lush and green. Here, all dormant Bermuda grass. Some patch greens. Overall, the layout was very nice, great people, pace was decent on the front nine and turned into a crawl on the back nine. No ranger so the pace just slowed. Challenging greens and they did role nice.
poor greens
interesting layout lots of challenging bunkers varying length of holes but greens were shaggy and slow hard to find lines and pace no consistency
