Excellent Course
Pace was a bit slow, but very busy that day-it was a great course overall. Don, one of the marshalls, was very helpful and doing a great job trying to keep things moving.
Troon
This is a Troon course And it shows. Maybe a little overpriced, but not terrible. Honestly, it doesn’t feel right saying that so I take it back. Visually it’s very similar to Tiburon black But it’s at half the price… So there you go. Great course Conditions and great staff and beautiful clubhouse.
Very good course!
i played this course when it was TPC Raptor Bay and played the new layout for the first time. The course is in very good shape, well manicured fairways and greens are in good shape in spite of golfers not fixing their divots which is annoying! My interactions with various staff members were extremely positive! I would definitely play here again.
Hidden Gem
Very nice course! This is a hidden gem in this price range in southwest Florida . Played 18 in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Would recommend, especially if you can get a deal on GN.
Challenging course - not worth the money
Salt Leaf is a challenging course.
The course is well maintained but not a beautiful golf course that you would expect when you are paying $200 +
for the round.
Amazing day at The Leaf
From the staff to the course, everything was world class. Really enjoyed the course layout, the food and drinks, and hospitality. Definitely will return.
Saltleaf
Course in good shape. A couple quirky homes but overall very nice. All high end carts and friendly staff. We basically had the course to ourselves on a Weds at Noon.
Nice course -
First time playing, it was nice and in good shape but the price for 18 is far too high. The staff is great but I would agree with other reviews over the lack of practice facilities.
Superb setting
The course layout within the nature preserve was beautiful. Wish we had arrived earlier than we did to spend more time in the complimentary range. All of the employees were fabulous. They were gracious, informative and helpful. The greens were tough because they were fast, but they were fair… it was just us!
Rain was not our friend
Played the front nine only due to intermittent rain. Fairways are hard and allow plenty of roll. Greens are fast and run true. Lots of water to avoid but no sandtraps - just hardpack waster bunkers - Like Tiburon.
