Beautiful course that's very playable
We found this course to very fun to play. While there are a few tight holes, the landing areas are generous so you are not sweating losing balls on every drive. The greens were in very good shape. They looked a little brown (maybe dormant) but they putted very well and the green speed was good. All the bunkers on the course are waste bunkers where you can ground your club. I was in a few and had no issues getting out of them. Very playable. Also, this course has these unique grass sided waste area bunker walls. Pretty cool! Definitely will be playing this course again!
Slowest round I have ever played
At times we had four groups at a tee box. Other than the slow play I didn’t have any complaints. It’s just impossible for me to enjoy a round that takes over 5 hours.
Good condition
Good condition. Friendly, responsive staff. Decent rate, but will get too expensive for me in season, so I’m playing it while I can. Interesting features since it was rebuilt and renamed, especially rhe sod walls along the waste areas. Fairly forgiving, especially since there are no bunkers…just cart path/waste areas. Long distance from green to tee on the back nine with criss-cross cart path makes it possible to get lost. But I still like this course. One of the better public courses still available in the area.
