Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club

The North course was in very good shape for this time of year. The greens were good and challenging. They also were very fast. The whole course was in good condition and a pleasure to play. Recommend it to anyone.

Haven't played this course in over a year and it was in mint condition everything was perfect. The greens were lightning fast and true the fairways were beautiful. I'll definitely be back I just hope the price comes down a little bit. They're having the us open qualifier there in the coming months.

Green were great pace was easy staff was friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better

Great course, well kept up, great tees, greens, bunkers, etc. can’t say enough good things about the course. The pace of play was absolutely horrid and nothing was done about it. Didn’t see a ranger the entire day.

Played the North course today from the vey back tees. I am 67 years old and it was really fun! The weather and the course were great!!

The staff in the Pro Shop were very friendly and helpful. Especially Grace!

Coming back tomorrow to play the South Course. If you are in this area or even an hour away, it is definitely worth coming here.

Also, great driving range range and the balls are included and out on the tee. No carrying a bag of balls. That went out in the 8s.

Would highly recommend this course and club to anyone!!

Played at noon on a beautiful day as a threesome on the North course. The tee boxes, fairways were in the best conditions I’ve seen Lake Jovita in many years.The greens were quite fast but in very good shape. Even the traps which are usually problematic, we’re well-maintained with plenty of sand.

The only setback was a member tournament of about six groups which played like they owned the course (which they probably have a right to). Took almost 5 hours. We’ll play again very soon

Let’s start by saying that the course is in excellent condition, beautiful very fast greens, great fairways, tees and bunkers. But the layout is just ok, no wow factor.

But the worst was the pace of play, 4 hours.and 50:minutes, waited on every shot made it for a long day, no marshall to keep the pace up. So not a good experience, I was expecting a better day of golf at Lake Jovita.

I played the south course today and it was awesome like always. Amazing conditions! Amazing layout! And anything you need from the pro shop to practice areas. If you haven’t played any of the courses at Lake Jovita you should! Prices are high this time of year but still cheaper than most courses of this caliber. Lots of elevation and plenty of challenge!

The course was one of the best I’ve played. Design, conditions, and speed of greens were exceptional. Loved it. The staff however need to learn hospitality. I arrived only 15 mins before my tee time snf I was told it was fine that I had time. I never played here before so I had no clue where to go and nobody offered help. I after finding my bay on a cart I headed to starter who informed me I was late and my group I was paired up with had already tees off and I’d have to catch up with them. Total bs since I was there. Anyway I played w 2 great guys who made experience worth it even after missing opening hole.

Not your normal Florida course. Undulating greens combined with elevation changes throughout the course made it a fun and challenging round.

For the price you pay $105, there should not be maintenance grews rolling the greens, working on sand traps, working on tee boxes, driving all around the course and the condition of the area around the greens is terrible. The maintenance issues speak for themselves. The condition around the greens would be compared to an un maintained round side, rocks, wash outs and holes. No one to maintain pace of play. If you just want to spend money and have 5 hours to spare for a round of golf, try it.

We played the North course which was outstanding. It was very wide open with rolling hills. You just got to avoid the fairway bunkers along the way. The greens were Bermuda & super fast, which I just loved. Putting & picking a point to land your chip was a challenge. Nice practice areas were also a plus. The views were beautiful all day. My wife & I thoroughly enjoy this gem of a course.
