Lines on the greens after being punched. Difficult to putt with these grabbing the ball as it rolled into them. Photo submitted by bvmagic on 05/30/2016

Not from the area, but course was recommended.
Was very disappointed. Extremely fast greens almost to a point of being a joke. Lots of gimmick holes. No rain but tee shots were plugged into the fairway.
When I got to the course found out it was cart path only because of reseeding. That happens, just bad timing on my part. Not worth $80 price , could play better track at half the price.
This course is always a pleasure to play.
North course. What a challenge. The very rapid pace of the greens takes getting used to.
The only downside was the kitchen was closed at 4pm and we finished at 4:20. Had only a barley sandwich. Their food is excellent.
Fantastic place to play
Fantastic place to play. Greens were in great shape. We had a blast. Play both courses when you get a chance. South is a harder course of the two. Enjoy and have fun.
Enjoy elevation changes
Very good course conditions fast greens good bunkers challenge your game.
Great Course
We got there early and no carts were available. After carrying our bags 200 yards up to the driving range we were disappointed that there were very few range balls left.
Nice
Course was in great shape, rye has filled in. Greens roll 9 plus, rough is thick, stay in fairways
Great Course
Really enjoyed my visit to play the North Course. Course was in great shape with greens running pretty fast and true. Some lovely holes with water and trees coming into play which forced the player into certain shot shapes. Liked the use of single trees in fairway even if I twice managed to get blocked out for approach shots. Will definitely be back and am already planning a visit to play the South Course
Overseeding done 2 weeks prior but course in great shape.
Great course!
This was my first time at Lake Jovita. Pleasantly surprised! Teed off around noon on a Sunday as a single and cruised around without running into anyone. Course was in good shape, especially the greens which were great. Only knock on the course was that bunkers weren’t manicured so they were very hard/wet from rain. Solid test from the gold tees. Every staff member I interacted with were great and helpful. I will definitely be back.
Jovita
Top end course. Wide open today , nice greens and fairways. One day of heavy rain last week and bunkers were trashed. Standing water in some and sand was like glue. Are great fairway bunkers on 16 being abandoned? They are filling with weeds. A “go to” course for me when I can get it(drive an hour) but yesterday I was very concerned about lack of attention to the traps.. perhaps it is forthcoming soon
Despite the massive amounts of rain we received on Friday 11/5, our round of golf was barely impacted on Sunday 11/7. Fairways were dry (but soft in some areas), there were no cart path restrictions, and the greens were very quick and true. Always love playing the Jovita courses - can be a little pricey in the fall/winter months, but always very well manicured and the staff are very friendly.
