Great course. Very nice layout and a great value. Will definitely come back here.
North Course
Our foursome totally enjoyed the course and facilities, plan on playing it again.
Every hole was different and challenging in different way which made it particularly interesting
Pace of play
I have yet to play at this course and not be questioned about our pace of play. We finished our round in exactly 4 hrs. It is always the .members...no one else. Otherwise a must play
Nice course worht the drive from Orlando
Course always in nice conditions with goof fairways and true greens. A slight disappointment was they did not provide free range balls like previous years we played here.
It’s a nice course.
I thought the course would have been in better condition by now. I don’t understand why a country club does not have any ball washers on the carts or tee boxes.
a hidden gem
Generous fairways with ample room for driving and 15 holes with a straightforward layout so you know exactly what is required. There is bunkering that comes into play for wayward shots and a few choice trees. Fast greens with fair sloping large enough to hit. this is well worth the drive.
Course was very fair would like to play again but we were on time but miss our tee time by twenty minutes because they said they ran out of golf carts
Wide Open but Challenging
Lake Jovita North course offers great golf. The fairways are wide, the greens large and somewhat fast, and the views are excellent, with a bit of elevation for a Florida course. Be aware of the sand, and uneven lies. Sodas are expensive @ $4, but everything else is superb.
Horrible
Played 9 holes in over 3 plus hours. No ranger and at times 6 groups on a hole. Pace of play i rated 1 poor because there is no lower rating. I believe at least 4 groups came in complaining. Very poorly run and managed. STAY AWAY from there not worth any price. Would not go back even if offered a free round, keep it and hire new management and rangers.
Poor Pace of Play / Poor Customer Service
Course we clearly overbooked. Started just before 1:00 PM and took 3 hours to finish nine holes. We called the club house who informed us that a ranger was out there however, we never saw a ranger. We walked off the course along with group behind us. The individuals working the club house would not offer any rain checks because we booked online. Regardless of how you book your tee time it's the courses responsibility to control the number of players and pace of play. They did neither and did not care.
Need to grow grass!
Great layout and potential but fairway conditions are terrible. Why dont they grow grass...impossible to get clean contact. Won't return here until the condition improves.
Terrible course management
Booked the round through Golfnow and got a good deal at 12:24 pm. Was paired with a twosome and the three of us started the round a few minutes before our tee time. However, we ended up playing for almost 5 1/2 hours. There was no ranger on the course at any time keeping pace of play, no water or adequate ice at the comfort stations, and the cart girl came around only twice in those five plus hours. In addition, two groups of threesome members ahead of us decided to pair up to make a six-some and there was nobody around to address this.
The course boasts about the country club feel but apparently is in need of public money to keep afloat. You will not get my money ever again - terrible course management - shameful pace of play and poor on-course conditions.
A Great Day on Lake Jovita South
Our foursome had a great day, starting with the reception in the pro shop. We checked in early with the starter and since the tee was open, we got off 20+ minutes early. The course was in great shape, including sand in the bunkers and the greens were rolling true. The young lady on the cart was around twice during the round, the gentlemen at the cart return were pleasant and the service at the 19th hole was good as well. Thank you for another enjoyable experience.
Great Course
One of the best I’ve playrd in the Orlando area. Layout was great. If you are playing multiple rounds in a week you must put this one on the list.
Great course hope to play one more time before going north
Wonderful Course
The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is that there are no ball washers and very little trash containers. What a beautiful course, congrats, and I hope to be back soon!!!
