Lely Resort - GreenLinks Villas

We were booked for Mustang but Flamingo had a few openings so they booked us on there and I much prefer it. Great conditions, fast greens and I've got to remember to play Thanksgiving day again next year - took all of 2hr 40 min for the 2 of us.

Love the course.

Course was in great shape. Very helpful and friendly staff. Water station to load up before you head out, full cooler on your cart and a full cooler to restock on the 10th tee. Greens rolled well. not particularly fast which was good with the greens being firm. I would definitely play again.

Good course layout with good conditions. Very difficult rough.

Because we booked through Golfnow we sensed we were treated differently in a negative way. In the pro shop, we felt like they were doing us a favor letting us play their course,. Of course there were many that were extremely hospitable. The starters for one. Maybe Lely should rethink accepting Golfnow if they feel it’s a hindrance.

Course, range and practice areas were all in excellent condition. Starter Joe was a great ambassador of the facility/course. Pace of play was perfect (under 4 hours). There were a few greens that had some damaged areas, but overall in very good condition. Only challenge was finding balls that wondered into the soft, spongy rough that quickly ate up balls. Be sure to use the cart gps for hole layout as there are a few areas where OB or water will creep into play. Good luck “taming the Mustang!”

I have played this course many times, over many years. The course is in excellent condition, and the staff is consistently friendly. The management must have decided that the income stream from the public was unnecessary because the green fees are more than doubled other courses, both in and off season. The course is very nice, but not Pebble Beach or similar..

Hot deal rate made it a fair outing on wallet. Plenty of space to play safe. Rough is tough out no hero shots get back on fairway and take your medicine. Front 9 slow back 9 sailed thru. No gators seen on this one. Good tee choices, will play again if in area. Greens were firm.

Not one hitch. Wide fairways, just enough water hazards, we'll laid out. Excellent.

Good layout and challenging course. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. I have played it before and the greens were much faster. Could have been the recent storm that didn’t allow to cut the greens. But overall a nice course.

Played the Flamingo course. Staff seemed bothered that we showed to play, course while it had a beautiful layout, was poorly maintained and in awful shape. For the money they charge to play, they should be ashamed of the conditions. Will not recommend nor be back to play.
