Course is going to be closed on the 15th and all the grass had been killed. They should have closed it when they did that. It was a notification on GolfNow, but it was hard to see and I didn’t look at it.
Worst Course Ever Ever Played
The course was completely dead grass -fairways and greens Was told that it was closing in two days for reconstruction. I was not made aware of this when I booked. Unless it was in the fine pint on page 30.
Give me my money back!

Will be renovated
For what I've heard, the course will be renovated. Current conditions are poor as the grass is all dead and brown including greens. There's a lot of sand to get into, I guess the dunes. I'm not a fan of Gary Koch's greens. Extremely undulating.. Electric carts with GPS. Still seemed to do a lot of walking even having a cart.

Rough shape
Played this course a bunch of times over the years. Very unique and quirky layout. Would not want to play it every day but a nice change of pace. WHEN it is in good shape. It is however in very rough shape right now. As bad as I have seen it. Not worth it when it is in this condition

Mystic Dunes
Unfortunately, Mystic Dines has hit bottom with their conditions…..they are planning to close their course on May 15 th for four months to redo the whole course. Greens were brown. Conditions were not very good……It’s too bad because the course was a good track not too long ago.

Don’t go this year!!
Been looking forward to playing here for awhile. Have been told it’s a great course to play. Layout was great, however fairways were very beaten down and greens were brown and holes were extremely worn. It looked like the Sahara throughout. Came to find out as we were already there, and too late to cancel, they sprayed to completely kill everything a few days back to shut down to redo the course in mid May. Shouldn’t be charging more than $5 per round. Absolutely terrible condition.

It's been better
Golf courses require major maintenance at times. Don't give up on this course based on other reviews. First off, you get a G.PS.. Second, they know it's been flipped, burnt and poisennd. I'm here to tell you that it's fine. Yes, I only paid $30, but it's worth the $45 price. The pins are in pure areas and the greens putt freely and fast.. Load. up some. drinks and enjoy this fine track for one third the price of Orange County....( Please leave your range finder at home, your killing me)

Poor course condition
The front nine was in horrible shape. More weeds than grass. The course is in bad shape including the greens. They said renovations would start in June. But i think it will take awhile. It would be a great course if it was in better shape. Really like the layout. Shame it got into bad shape.

Great layout
Played today May 30th early morning. Course is starting their renovation process. Greens were slick and fast. Cant wait to play it in September when they open back up. I believe I heard they were closing as of May 10th.

watch greens
Great course,, but fairways were being worked on, but just lost some roll. Greens are the challenge with the slopes. If it would have been dry they would have been impossible.

Course is tore up
This course is all full of weed bare spot sand traps are all over the place and bad. Greens have dirt balls and crap from trees all over them really to much to list . At least they know it and only charge $45 for a resort course.

Mystic Dunes
Pretty nice course. It’s going to be closing for a rebuild soon. It was very difficult, greens were insanely challenging. The only main complaint I would give is that the fairways were in bad condition. Lots of brown dead spots. Had to move the ball to some grass on several holes. But understandable being that it’s going to have a rebuild.

Poor conditions
Wonder what happened to the water. Complete course need some tlc. Watering fairways and greens. Aeration, overseeding, edging traps, raking traps, and cleaning traps from grass. Course could be a fun course but in its present condition its rough, Tees and greens included
