Excellent golfing facility
Great golf course with 2 courses . Played the international and enjoyed greatly .

Well kept Resort course
Had an opportunity to play the international course at ChampionsGate six days after a hurricane had passed through the area. I was surprised at how well kept and resilient the course was. There was still some small areas of standing water in the fairways but I found none in the Green side bunkers. In fact the greenside bunker‘s had all been reworked and raked. Only one hole was still cartpath only. The international course designed by Greg Norman has a few trees and is supposed to be more links like. Fairways are enormous Lee wide. Some forced carries are required but if you pick the right set of tees none of them are difficult. Greens roll smooth. One of their par four holes is undergoing a major renovation and all four tee-boxes are playing off the most forward Tee. The only reason I gave this course a four star rating is because it is a bit boring. It is hard to build a Links style course in Central Florida w/o moving a lot of dirt on relatively flat terrain.

Put up some yardage poles!!!
This is a nice course but a player should not have to stand on the tee box and try to figure out where to hit a ball. Give us some yardage poles or center of the fairway poles. I don't have a caddie who has walked the course for me to figure out where to go. Without the poles/yardage markers or really anything to help you figure out where to go the course gets boring. Put one short in the fairway then a middle iron in. This course could be great with a little help to the average Joe on where to aim.

International Course WOW
Great course other than the gators I would have thought I was in Scotland, a bit soft with all the rain but it was in great shape I will be back

The course is always one of my favorites. Although we weren’t able to play the international because a qualifier tournament, the National course was in great shape. There was a ton of rain the week before and other than a few wet spots the course was awesome.

Great time
Fantastic course and great shape. It has rained for days and the night before rained for about 10 hours straight. Only 2 holes were cart path only minimal flooding so the course drained well. Fairly friendly layout greens were in good shape and staff was friendly. Great food afterwards as well.

great course great condition
Great course played it a few times when in Florida my two friends from the uk and I agree that it was mint condition and managed extremely well just in tip top conidtion.

Great place to escape
I travel to play this course. Great facilities, pace was good and course was in great condition considering all the rain.

Course was OK but could be better
I have heard all about Champions Gate and have always wanted to play. In the winter time it is almost impossible to get a tee time and the price is almost double what I paid during the summer. The course has a very traditional layout. The greens were very good but not that fast. The fairways were very nice. Many of the bunkers, especially the waste bunkers were filled with either mud or water or both. For the price in the summer, I would say $105 is too much compared to other courses in the area.

Solid course
Starter told us the course condition was a 12. More like a 6, lots of soggy spots. However greens and tees were excellent. Played the National, challenging but not ridiculous
