ChampionsGate Golf Club - National
About
The National course is a classic American-style layout that rolls through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands. Unique bunkering, tree-lined fairways and intriguing green designs define shot making challenges. In particular, golfers are apt to remember the National for its testing par 3 holes and for the double green shared by holes 4 & 16.

Nice course but way to expensive for the
Price was like double what I’d say it was worth. Nice course. Well maintained. Greens and boxes were great. But non resident was pricey.
A Classic layout but a lot of $$$$
This is a great layout with friendly and considerate staff, but unfortunately it is truly overpriced especially for non residents. The course was in moderately good condition, greens were fast and ran well, traps were a bit thin in places, but still kept well. several tees were in need of repair. The cost just isn't justified at this time.
I would still recommend playing it, but look for special rates if at all available.
Not worth the money
We played the national course. Pacee of play wasn't good. We waited on every hole every shot. We paid $230 and it's not worth that. I'm a FL resident and play all over the state, season or not this is a $140 max fee course.
Great Resort Course
Friendly staff, great course conditions, easy to read greens, fun course layout and nice practice facilities.
A Top Central Florida Public Course
This course is challenging but great layout and makes you have to think about what club to pick on the tee box. This course along with Evermore’s Cypress Course are the best public Parkland Courses in Orlando.
Championsgate Club
I had the first tee time of the day, had some off time while on a business trip. Everything about this course impressed me. All of the staff from the pro-shop to the starters and even the groundskeepers make this experience one of the best I’ve had playing golf. this course is a must-play with amazing conditions and a fun time as well. Thank you Holly and everyone who helped me and my wife have a blast here!
Good Layout
I played the National at ChampionsGate as the 2nd round of 36 holes today. I played in and around a couple of thunderstorms so the pace of play was outstanding and I basically had the course to myself. Getting soaked was the only downside. It’s a nice layout. And pretty player friendly. A more traditional country club design compared to the International layout. The fairways are tight and the greens smaller. But it’s not overly tight and there is room to hit your ball. I would say it was in slightly better shape than the International right now which is just coming off being closed for aeration. The greens were smooth and soft from the rain. And the fairways and tees were in really good shape. There is a double green which was a cool feature. And 15 a par 3 on the back is a memorable hole. Bc you can’t see the green hardly for the brush in the forced carry area. Other than that hole not alot of forced carries. It’s a layout anyone can enjoy. And well worth the replay rate of $60 that I paid.
Hot Florida Day
Good outing at National. Greens were fast but didn’t move much. The tee boxes and fairways were in good condition and no restrictions on carts.
I would recommend to pack your own food. The cart is good with normal fare but a fresh PubSub would’ve been much better than the cart food.
Fair and challenging
Hadn’t played here in a few years. The staff was friendly and helpful. Inside and outside facilities top notch. The course in fantastic condition tee to green. During the round a player assistant came around at least 3 times with iced wet towels and free water bottles also ice cold.
Ate at bar post round and food was excellent. Price = quality today.
