Probably the best overall golf experience in the area especially when considering for the fairly priced tee times

On arrival, everyone at the club made us feel welcome. They went out of there way to inform us on everything, such as shifting our tee time to beat the weather, loaded the clubs on to carts, showed us where the 1st tee was, as well as information concerning the course. The course itself is great, tees, fairways and greens were in good condition (even though the greens had been sanded). This course is a must for golfers to play.

Greens were a bit sandy but rolled true. Fairways and rough were in great condition.

Only drawback was we only saw the beverage cart one time, and you can guess what hole. Never fails.

Crooked Cat and Panther Lake are my go to courses. They are always in good shape.

Still wet areas after yesterday's rain. Hot and humid but expected. Like the updated push carts for walking the course. Greens in good condition and only saw the gator once.

Been playing OCN for years and have seen comments about a specific ranger, that if you’ve played here long enough, you know who it is. Well, to start, there was no starter at the starter booth until after my tee time (keep in mind there were 3 open holes before we started - I saw nobody tee off). Haven’t been able to get out much so didn’t expect to play my best, and didn’t. While on pace to play a 2 hour nine, I began to be harassed by this ranger who let us know that the foursome behind had reached the bathroom by the tee box, on the hole we are were about to reach the green on. Congratulations to that group! Not once did they have to wait on us. Were approached again and asked to speed up again and was accused of farming balls when I was looking for a poor drive I blocked - sorry I don’t hit them all right down the middle. Anyways, we finished in 3 hours and 45 minutes, which may be a record for OCN. Course was in good shape but this lovely ranger decided to get in my head today (i shouldn’t let this happen but having dealt with him before it was upsetting). Unfortunately OCN doesn’t care about the poor customer service they provide - they will have customers no matter what and know it. Why should they care?

Simply a pleasure to play. I don't have any negative things to say. Would love to play way more than possible for me and my son!

Greens were recently aerated, but still were in good shape. I'm not good enough for it to matter anyways. Cart path had some construction spots but nothing bad, just had to veer off a couple times. Otherwise, the course is in wonderful condition. It's a must play if you're in the area. Try go during the week day, weekends can get very busy. I went Monday morning and it was decently empty, lots of singles. Was able to finish in under 4 hrs easy.

Positive experience with some areas to improve.

Playing conditions were very good considering the amount of rain recently but compared to other courses we played we didn't get the value we hoped for due to the listed cons.

Pros - Great layout that offered risk reward, extensive practice facilities, helpful staff, decent selection of apparel at pro shop.

Cons - No prior notification that greens were aerated, practice green closed, restaurant closed,

As advertised this course is challenging. But, if you hit it straight you can shoot a good score. I didnt accomplish either of those 2 things. Hopefully you'll have better luck.
