Crooked Cat at Orange County National

The greens are in phenomenal shape (except hole 18, they lost that green somehow). This course is always in great shape and has drained well considering all the rain lately. It gets a ton of play so the pace of play isn’t great, but it’s expected here.

Love coming here. Conditions are literally always perfect for good golf!!

Their computer system was down upon check in but no big deal as I had prepaid.

Only real, yet minor issue was with the foursome in front of us’ pace. I started as a solo and ran into a group of two solos who had to get together and were waiting in the fairway on the second par 5. The rest of the afternoon was us 3 waiting for the 4 guys (who were playing the wrong tees) to finish every hole. God bless those guys but we need to let smaller faster groups through!

Course was in great shape. Great variety of holes. Great practice facilities. Lunch included was also a nice touch

Played this course yesterday. It had aeration a week ago and was recovering well. A very long course and I would say it's key to your enjoyment to play off the right tee for you. We played off the greens and as two 13 handicappers shot+6 as a Texas scramble. We regularly had about 190 yards in for our second shots. I think playing of the whites would have been better.

Carts were good. Free orange and iced towel a good addition at the starters hut. Tee boxes ok, but not the best. Fairways generally very good. Greens recovering well. Pace of play good, but not amazing.

Would definitely recommend it.

All around great experience from the Practice Facilities, the Staff, the Pace of Play, and the Crooked Cat Course. The Crooked Cat Links Style Course was fair, you just need to have control of your Ball like any other Course. Would highly recommend playing this Course if you're in the area.

Greens were still a little bumpy from aeration but it was tolerable. Rest of course is in good shape and always fun to play this layout. The group in front of us was slow but ranger was doing his best to move them along. They thought it was funny to play super slow on 18 and back up 3 groups. Not the course’s fault, some folks just lack decency.

Super well maintained like always. Greens are recovering from being punched but we knew that going into it.

Very impressed with the condition of the golf course. I wish I had a facility this nice near my home. The practice facility is excellent along with a very large putting green. If you’re in the Orlando area, you need to go play crooked cat.

Been playing this course for years - love the layout and value for an Orange County resident. These greens are less than a year old and 4 of them already have bad bare spots? Really? I know this course gets a lot of play but the green conditions were literally better before they were completely replaced. New greens keeper?

Course is in excellent shape. Wide fairways, big greens, traps and tees perfect. Can't find any negatives. Two water stations for refills. GPS on cart. Only lost one ball. Ranger passed by a few times to see how we are doing. I usually play Panther Lake, but it is closed. Crooked Cat is a little easier. Only two holes that goes over water.

An exceptional course that is both fun and challenging! I highly recommend it!

Played mid-morning on a Tuesday. Panther Lake closed for rebuild/maintenance until October. Crooked Cat greens very firm and bunkers very soft from the rebuild/maintenance on it. Approach shots will often bounce over the greens, and greenside bunker shots will tend to come up short. Staff was efficient and courteous, but no one seemed particularly happy to be there. Summertime in Florida is tough on golf courses, so bring some patience and understanding. Still, fun was had by all.
