Typical Daily Fee Facility

Played in the late afternoon. Lots of divots and pitch marks, and unraked bunkers. Several greens had weeds removed and sandy low spots where they used to be.

Panther Lake never fails to impress. Greens we’re probably as slick as Ive ever known them. Course in good condition considering the time of year and a pleasure to play.

Excellent layout and conditions. Pace of play eh.

Both the layout and conditions of the course were excellent. However, pace of play could’ve been faster. Snacks were a little higher than should be for a couple bottles of water and packs of crackers. The cart girl came around more times than any course I’ve played. If you book as a single be aware that they will move your tee time up or down. Which is very annoying. That should not happen. But overall a very good course and conditions.

Friendly, helpful staff

My son and I enjoyed our round of golf today at Panther, Orange County National. When we got to the starter at Panther he asked us if we’d like like start on 10 because there was a slow outing of 20 out in front of us. That was the way to go and we had an enjoyable round in 4 hrs! Everyone was very helpful and the course is awesome! Thanks!

No Red Ladies Tees

The women playing were struggling with the Tan Tee Box @5400 yd tees… next shortest were Whites at 6000 yards, too long for many Seniors.

Tough Track

Having played here a number of times, I can promise you Panther Lake is a great test of all your golfing skills. It’s a tough but very fair course that’s in very good condition. A few tees are a bit worn in places and the fairways have a some really thin spots but overall PL is in good shape. The greens are smooth and consistently quick but not unfairly fast given the noticeable undulations in many of them. Although our threesome waited on most shots, pace of play (4:20) was not unreasonable for a weekend round in this area. Overall, I don’t hesitate to recommend Panther Lake for a challenging and enjoyable round of golf.

Wet conditions but Good Round

Rain on and off, but holes didn’t even require cart path only rules. Course drainage was extremely good. Made for a quick 18 with no slow play in front.
