Nice design, good par 3s
Course was pretty good for this time of year. Good value for the money.
Very Good condition
We have enjoyed this course several times while we were in Florida. One of the best courses in the area. The fairways are in far better condition than most in the area and the greens are true and consistant. We always enjoy this course
Low lying property damp fairways
Good value. Greens in good shape hold approach shots. Relatively open but trees at strategic locations if shoots pulled or sliced.
Funky layout, good conditions
They keep all the turf (tees, fairways, greens) in good shape. It's low and flat and doesn't drain that well, so be careful when it rains. And the first several holes on the full-size course are interwoven with the 9 hole "Lagoons" course, so the routing is a bit odd and confusing. But overall, a pretty good course.
non refundable
the experience was great. I hooked up with a friendly couple from Canada. unfortunately I bought a twosome and my playing partner got sick so the price I received from Golfnow didn't turn out to be such a good deal.
Nice course
The staff was great at check-in. The first tee was wide open and we started early. Course was in good shape.
course wet
First 9 not nice, wet bad fairway. Back 9 much nicer. Fjrst tine pkaying and it was Difficult to find the next hole, confusing. Had to ask twice
Would like to try again
Played under extremely windy conditions. Made it tough to gauge yardages for the first time around. Greens were off some, but it's early in the season. Bunkers in great shape and uniform.
Very old, but pleasant
At 08.00 we were the first to tee off for the day.
As a twosome we did it in just over 3 hours.
The course is old which means that the holes are mostly short, relatiyve to courses built over the last 25 years.
Fairways were not in good shape but the greens were excellent.
Very friendly caddiemaster and marshall.
Playing via Golf now gave us a very good deal $ 15 per person, so absolutely no complaints here.
great course
The course was in very good condition. Greens were very good. Tees and fairways were well kept. Recommend playing here, you'll enjoy it. Worth the money.
Just what we needed
Came to FL from snowy New England and needed a course to play a round to start the season. This was a good course for that.
Fairways level, greens in great shape, and forgiving on errant shots on most holes.
Staff very pleasant.
Plantation On Crystal River
Over all good course but wet every time I have play. I alway's have mud between the club and the ball. The greens are fast and unpredicable hard time reading the putt. Maybe just me.
good course conditions
Vary strange hole layout but excellent condition. Greens fast and rolled great. Some very short par 4's but also some lengthy ones.
Plantation on Crystal River Golf Course
Had a great time on this course except that after the rains for a couple of days, it was very wet and soft (not the courses fault).
Improving the Course
I'd heard The Plantation was undergoing improvements, after being somewhat neglected a few years back. The course was in good shape. The layout of some holes can be confusing, for the first time playing there. There is plenty of water, as well as tee shots to narrow fairways. Overall, all eight of us enjoyed the course.
Terrible waiting for continue playing
I won't play this course again.
Very poor condition of the court.
Very bad indicated. Not amusing!
Great course great value
Course was very wet from 2 inches of rain the day before but was still in great shape . Looking forward to playing it again
Great Vakue
I went in with low expectations due to the price I paid but was very surprised. Very fun course with great greens.
short course but very tight and challenging
Staff was very friendly, course was fun and the location was nice
Good Course with nice layout , do not play when wet.
Unfortunately we played the course the day after a soaking rain shower and the course does not drain well. We were first off and played cart paths only so I cannot gauge pace of play for this course. When we are in the area again we will make sure to return for another round. My wife and I did like the layout and the staff was very nice..We went into the restaurant after our round for a light lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how good the burgers were..Again a very accommodating and friendly staff, and a nice layout.
