This is a neat course. Full practice area: chip, sand, putt and range. Range balls included! Greens were in great shape and running FAST - 12ish stimpy. Fairways were also in great shape. Layout is creative. Driver can reach trouble so a three wood is best choice for a number of holes. It's almost 7000 from the tips.

Pace was marred by one group. And actually probable just one player in that group. He took so much time on the greens. Looked like they (he) were playing $500 a hole. Could of really used some ranger prodding.

But I do like this course and worth playing if you get the chance. Wait until the snowbirds have gone and play when it's really hot so the older members won't be out there.

Enjoyed another day at River Wilderness. The course is in great shape. Greens are fast, but put true. Staff is always wonderful. A nice touch, they have ice and water throughout the course.

Friendly staff. Greens were fast and tricky on some holes. Fairways generally good. Some doglegs and rolling fairways could produce unexpected results, More plays would be a benefit and I plan on returning.

This course is over rating and to expensive fot the value...3 * is OK...If you want to give your money, please play anither place...No reqlly that I expect...Close to the Airbnb that I stay but that it

One of the best layouts in Sarasota area. Course in great condition......EXCEPT....needs water bad, and all the fairways & fringes are cut way too tight!! Why do all these courses here "shave" their grass so short, it all burns out?? Greens, as always, were fast & true.

All went well but realized upon arrival from starter that Golf Now partipants are worked into course play upon arrival——members move ahead of you despite being booked for a specific time.

What a true challenge to putt these greens!! Loved the layout and fun, challenging day of golf with an inviting staff greeting!

Very nice golf course out in the country. Has a nice mix of easy holes and challenging holes. the course was in good condition with fast greens.

Very playable with room off the tee friendly staff

We play this course regularly this Winter season as the HotDeals have been great value for the product. The Staff is friendly, accommodating and kind. ProShop Scott and Mark have been so kind. The greens are in great shape and are fast. Don't be above the hole!! Bunkers need some TLC however, manageable. When it's windy the course plays quite long. The biggest "beef"; they lock up the clubhouse and Proshop at 5 pm even with lots of groups still out, so there is no place to use the restrooms. This is unacceptable and management should correct this ASAP.

First time playing this course and the experience couldn’t have been better. Everyone was super friendly and seemed to want to make sure you had a good experience. Range balls are included in the greens fee as well as a putting and chipping area. As for the course, good condition, really enjoyable layout with multiple tees to choose from. The greens were fast and true, really nice to putt on. Played in 3 hrs 45 min.

Playing the course was a pleasure. Lots of green from tee box, on fairways, to greens. No excuses. The course is in great shape.

Love playing here but am NOT happy about making tee times that get cancelled the day of play or the day before. Perhaps in those cases an offer of another day be complimentary and an apology issued. Monday’s and Tuesday’s tee times are the cancelled tee times!!!

The course was in good condition except for some of the tee boxes. They were not flat, lacked grass and pointing in the wrong direction.

Handicap: 2-6. I would recommend this course to anyone I know. Very good design. Excellent course condition when I played it. It had been raining a lot but the course held up to the rain very well in my opinion. The greens were rolling about 10.5 on the stimp meter. Yes, I own a stimp meter. The greens were pretty healthy and were medium firmness. They would hold any decent shot hit into them. The fairways were in top condition. Tee boxes too. I would play it again anytime.
