I enjoyed the course as usual, the greens are very good, tees poor and fairways average..
Depending on the tees you play it can be a very good test

Great course for all levels. Greens were in great shape. Fairways were well groomed. Friendly staff. Water on many holes creates a good challenge.

It is good that they have opened up play to the public at this once private club. While it shows it's age a bit and is a step below some other newer "top shelf" courses - it holds up well with some interesting holes and gives you a variety of looks. It is worth the trip and is a good value. Greens are hard and smooth, fairways in decent shape, little rough, some water and sand to contend with - tee boxes are a bit shabby would be my only complaint.

Really enjoyed the course. More of a traditional layout than most other courses in this area, though with some trouble if you're not careful. Fairways very good, greens outstanding. Will definitely play again.

This course is worth the drive, good challenge, six set of tees, fabulous fast greens with not too much undulation. Great value.

very nice layout but the course needs some better care. no ranger no food cart

Greens were the fastest I've played in a while. Practice facility was very nice (range balls included). Most driving ranges in the area are "aqua ranges", but not this facility. The starter was nice enough to move my tee time up almost an hour (as a single). Less houses on the course than most courses around here (there are houses around the outside of the course, not surrounding each hole as seems typical).

I have now played the course twice and enjoyed it even more the second time. Each time I was paired with members of varied skill levels. They were all delightful and helpful plus deservedly proud of their golf course.

I will return.

Was able to play ahead of the crowd , enjoyed the course , I use to play inter-club events during the summer several years ago , which was always a great time . Everyone from the person that greeted me @ my car to load my bag on the cart , Pro signing me in were very personable . Practice range & greens are in good condition as well .

Pretty slick greens, must be carefull. This is a nice track to play and will play it again before I leave.

Challenging course with ample traps and water hazards. Greens were fast and true. It was a shotgun start at 1pm which we knew. Play slowed and there was no ranger to keep it moving. Otherwise, highly recommend and we I'll play again!

Great practice areas. Good golf course. Fairways are not over seeded w/ rye but in good shape, some what dormant Bermuda. Greens are running about 11. They are great. This is where Paul Azinger grew up playing, can't be all bad. Try it, you'll be treated well. Extremely knowledgeable staff & friendly.

Really looked forward to this track after reading a few reviews. Convenient to Tampa as it is located just past the Ellenton Outlets. This course has potential but could use a rerouting of several holes. Greens were at least 11 or 12 stimp and presented a challenge depending on position and chipping strategy. Not the most accommodating starter and a strong membership that obviously hates discount card players invading their turf. Heard the same complaint from the twosome we were paired with. River Strand is the better choice.

Enjoy playing when price is right. Course was in excellent condition. Greens were true.

If you like a challanging course that will test all parts of your game, this is the course. The greens are unbelievable and always roll nice.

Played in a shotgun format here in the AM of Christmas Eve the course was full and the pace was great. lots of fun to be had.

Nice course. Good challenge. Good condition. Be careful if you book the 1pm on a Monday. They run it as a shotgun! Quite the surprise when I showed up. Maybe the course should add the little icon on GolfNow so people aren't surprised by the 60 people they see on the range when arriving.
