About Reunion Resort & Golf Club
Originally developed by Bobby Ginn, Reunion makes a big impression, not just on first-timers but repeat visitors as well. All three golf courses - by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson - stimulate the senses, and the luxe lodgings range from hotel-style suites to rental houses with 10 or more bedrooms. Proximity to Disney makes Reunion particularly convenient for families with younger children and an avid golfer or two.Facts

Not worth the $$
We locals wait for public tee times to become available each year at Reunion so I jumped on the opportunity to play the Watson course. Not worth it. Not only do they not disclose that the greens were recently pin hole punched and are still healing (sloooow) but it is obvious that the maintenance quality of the course in general has gone downhill. Not nearly as manicured and top tier as it has been in the past. Do not recommend.
Not in the best condition but great course anyway
The course is a bone dry, overall the course is not in the best condition except for the greens, which are in excellent condition and great speed, tees bunkers and fairways are a 4/10, greens a 10, it's a great course and you'll sure will have fun around the course, great design.
The Sand Course
183 bunkers on this course and 0 water. Fairways hard and packed, greens that don't hold and bunkers and sand pits everywhere. For the price it is not worth it. I am not afraid of sand but can I get a little fairway with a nice fluff or something close ? Very disappointed for $231.
Greens were slightly bigger than Nicklaus course but 0 were flat(ish). and then you rolled off into a trap. Not for the beginner or high handicapper.
Not Worth the fee
The course is a challenge, the fee is not worth the challenge. The greens are very small, the fairways were not plush, yet very hard with a 50-70 yds roll not holding. Good luck finding any green with a flat look. I am not afraid of the rolling greens but when your ball doesn't hold its tough sledding. The course is worth about $125 NOT $231 a round.
Vacation visit
Excellent course, great challenge and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.
Below average experience for above average pricing
Super below average. Clubhouse is an absolute confusing mess to locate after having to park on the far side of the hotel with no cart shuttle/pickup. Starter seemed totally out of sorts, not friendly/welcoming. Rental clubs were in trash condition (outdated Apex irons, no head covers thus dinged up) . Greens were decent (would roll about 8 on stimp) but poor course conditions given the high price. We waited on nearly every hole. Overall, not a good value for a declining course.
An overall great experience
I have only played the Watson and now Palmer courses at Reunion, both were fantastic experiences. The course was in incredible condition and the pace of play was great also until we caught up with a group of three foursomes that were together. They were more interested in partying than playing. We got to the 10th tee and all three groups were on there on the tee with nobody in sight ahead of them. The group behind us called the pro shop to have a marshal come out to speed them up. I never saw him, but after four holes there was no waiting any longer, so he must have spoken to them. I lover the course setup and the forced carries over water on a few holes. There was nothing so long to carry that even the least experienced in our group couldn't do it, but added to the fun. Looking forward to going back again, I recommend it highly.
Best of the 3 at Reunion
Worst thing of the day…..saw the cart person ONCE all day.
Rest of the day was great. Course conditions were really good. Greens were perfect. Saw a few previous reviews about how slow and uncut the greens were on Watson. Definitely not the issue now. Not lightning fast but def quick. Great shape. Other than a few weed areas in the fairways the course was excellent. IMO, the best of the 3 courses here by FAR. Great layout. Great look off of each tee box. Range was good. Personnel was super friendly. At the off season rates right now, this course is almost a bargain around Central Florida. Highly recommended.
09/21/2024 - enjoyable day
Practise area was convenient and in good condition
Enjoyed my round but the greens were very slow.
No food available in the late afternoon when I finished.
Signage for Palmer &Watson 10 confusing. I met 2 groups who were lost trying to find Watson 10.
Overall a good day and plan to play all 3 courses in the coming days
What a place, millionaires golf !
The Resort was impressive even on the drive in from the security entrance. The course was in fantastic condition, fairways and greens were excellent. Not an easy course, but enjoyed every shot, even the bad ones. We felt like we had the whole course to ourselves, only saw one other player during the whole round.
Good course but greens very slow
Nice course greens was too long needed cutting and rolled fairways very good. The fact the greens was very slow and too long spoilt the game.
Wonderful day of golf
Couldn't have asked for better weather on what was supposed to be an electrified afternoon. No rain or lightning to chase us away or dampen the mood or game. as fantastic until we reached the 11th tee box and there were three groups already there ahead of us, we had to wait for. All 12 were together and having a great time with plenty of libations going around. It was very slow for the next three or four holes before finally picking back up to a decent pace. They must have had a visit from the marshal. I enjoyed the round very much, mostly due to playing along side my daughter, the course, and finishing the round with the same ball that I started with (a rarity for me)
Nothing right and nothing wrong
Disappointingly uninspiring.
Not very busy, slowish play, course kept in good condition but nothing memorable.
Must Play Course
I am not a big review guy but had to share my great experience at this course. I am a huge Palmer designed course fan anyway and this course reinforced that! Hills, valleys, slopes and "target golf" challenges throughout the course. Not Florida flat all! Greens ran great, conditions were topnotch, and the scenery on the course is fantastic. Interesting and fun course!
I"ll be back......
Great layout, but shaggy grainy slow greens, so low value
Scratch golfer. Shot a frustrating 75 from the tips. A decent challenge on a fun layout. But maaaan, $90+ for greens that were cut too high, not rolled, and thus super grainy and ultimately too slow for the caliber of the resort was frustrating. I play better greens on many $25 public courses. This place is not worth the money they are asking. A birthday disappointment for sure. I bet things are top notch in the winter for the members. But the public and resort guests are being somewhat ripped off in the summer. Green fees should be $65 absolute max unless the greens are fast, true and perfect. No real golfer cares about anything else.
One of the best in the Orlando area
Top 3 course in the Orlando area in my opinion. From the tee boxes, to the fairways, to the greens. Everything was in great condition.
