About Sawgrass Marriott Resort

Located adjacent to the world-famous TPC Sawgrass, the home of the PGA Tour and PLAYERS Championship, is the Sawgrass Marriott Resort. The property features over 500 guest rooms a short walk to the TPC. After golf, the property features seven restaurants, four swimming pools, fitness center and mini golf, as well as a private beach club a short shuttle drive away. Guests have preferred access and rates to the TPC Sawgrass Stadium and Dye's Valley courses as well as other area golf courses around the Jacksonville and St. Augustine areas.

First time @ TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley

Very nice round at Dye’s Valley. Plenty of water to contend with but fairways had landing generous zones to keep the ball in play. Greens were in great condition and the layout offers many reward decisions, overall a fun course to play.

Need better instructions about carts

My golf cart stopped for no obvious reasons and forced me to back up. Did not happen to the other cart. This completely made me lose my focus as I had to WALK to my ball and got behind. If there are some things we should know about restrictions, these should be made clear ahead of time. This was the second shot on a par 5 and not anywhere near the greens where I can understand it being an issue. You can post signs that direct the rider to stay in the safe zone and still reach the fairway. This was totally unacceptable.

The layout is excellent but the course conditions (fairways in the main) are unacceptable for a TPC Sawgrass course. The grass is dormant so divots are not being filled. The course maintenance crew should put sand in all the divots at the very least. Greens rolled just fine but not as fast as I thought.

Beautiful and Well Maintained Course

Pricey but it likes Disney world, you will get a 1st class experience. Course is in great shape, really nothing out of place. Challenging but not horribly difficult. Had out for town guest who had an amazing experience.
