Sheraton Panama City Beach Golf and Spa Resort

We’ve played Baypoint many times. Love the layout. Course was in typical post seeding November condition. Greens and tee blocks are thick with new seedlings. As a result, the greens were very slow. Pace of play was painfully slow - but it was a Saturday.

My only complaint is with Golfnow selling 1251pm as their Hotdeal time given a Panama City Beach sunset of 449pm. Allowing only 4 hours of daylight to complete a public course round (especially on a weekend) is simply not fair. We played (as a joke) the last 4 holes in the dark - with 17 and 18 in complete darkness.

Come on Golfnow - can’t you get a time closer to noon? You do it for Legacy (another PCB course) so why not Baypoint?

I could not have asked for a better experience. It was a beautiful fall day, the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. I teed off ai 1pm and basically had the course to myself. Lots of water and sand so have extra balls.

The course is in fairly good shape but it is well taken care of. Just not worth the cost because I have played some municipal courses that are in better shape for better cost but it is convenient to the Marriott vacation club.

A Jack course always plays like a Jack course, no matter where you are at in the country. Beautiful layout, bunkers in pristine conditions. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience

Really fun course that challenged you mentally with the amount of water protecting 16/18 holes. Will definitely play this again when in PCB, FL.

Course was in great shape, especially for this late in the season. Pretty tough for your average golfer. Water on almost every hole, tight fairways with several houses, lotta doglegs. Beautiful scenery with the bay and natural greenery. My only complaint is it's easy to get turned around if you've never played it before. It was my second time out and I got lost. There is signage but the course layout jumps all over the place. Probably not worth the full $110 but I'd say it's definitely worth $80.

I reserved the time a few days before play but the weather changed & it was both cold & very windy. I requested a cancellation due to this but was refused at the course. I went ahead and played but the conditions led to a bad round as the wind was very bad. I have played this course several times in the past but feel this was probably my last time. They offered no option for compensation.

Fun course, course was in good shape with lots of water and sand. Bring some extra balls. Pace of play was good as we finished in less than 4 hrs. If you are a long hitter you will not be able to use driver on many holes. Got a Hot Deal so it was a fair price for the course, will play it again next time I’m in PCB.

I was paired up with a twosome (one of which was a member) and had a great time! Pace of play was great and the course was in great shape. Staff was extremely polite and the driving range is free (get there early and take advantage).

Challenging course with water on most holes that comes into play. I’m learning the course and enjoying playing it.
