Beautiful
The course was beautiful. Water on all holes and multiple tees to be accomadating to anyone playing. The most wildlife and scenery I have experienced in the area. Great for an avid golfer or a person just looking to spend a beautiful day in a beautiful location. The only thing that could ruin such a beautiful place is playing golf on it. Recommended for everyone.
Poor greens
The overall condition of the course was fair , the greens were in very poor condition , 5 hour round wasn't good .
I will not return there to play

Long term plans are a complete greens and bunkers renovation in just 4 months. excelent layout and challenging
this course is in terrible condition for the price. The greens were disgusting and the fairway and rough lean..dirt little grass.

Been a while!
Haven't played it in a few years-forgot how challenging! Pace of play was OK, considering the crowd , many of whom, I'm sure hadn't played there in a while, if ever!
Staff is outstanding ! Greens were pretty quick! Hope to play it again soon!

Great course for a round while visiting Sanibel
The course was in very good condition. It was an unseasonably cool day with a bit of wind which made the carries over the water trickier. The greens had some bare areas, but those were being patched well and didn't cause any issues nor slowed down the putts at all. Overall, I had a great time and met some wonderful men as playing partners.

Decent conditions, very short course, lots of water.
I should have done more homework. The course was much shorter than I anticipated. Not really many places to hit your driver. Water everywhere. Overall an enjoyable afternoon round, but not real forgiving.
We are not the longest golf course around, but if you lose your focus for one shot you can sure pay the price! Thanks for coming out and we are thrilled to hear that you had an enjoyable afternoon.

Nice course, club house needs effort
staff less than friendly in golf shop, but people handling clubs seems disingenuous about their friendly approach, more about getting tips

Watch out for the gators
Bring lots of balls if you are not a precision shot maker. Water on every hole, but very manageable.
Course in good condition and pace of play was slowed by some that wanted to take pictures of the many gators that line the shores of the water.

We hope you were able to avoid most of the water, and apologize if pace of play was a little slower than you may have wanted but we can assure you we do our very best to keep pace of play at a reasonable time. Five day golf package , last day
We love this course, reason layout is beautiful and but not easy. Lot of water! But the nature and all those beautiful birds and alligators. And one crocodile- so you have possibility to enjoy playing in " a bit exotic" course. Only problem was that first time fairways were not so confition than they have been.

Best course on Sanibel Island
The layout of the course is great despite a couple of short Par 3's. There is plenty of alligators to watch and the setup of the course asks for a tactical play. Always a great experience!

Fun course
Started on the back 9. I forgot how much water comes into play. Pace of play even as a single was fine. The reward was that the front 9 seemed easy after 10-18.

Don't let the yardage fool you! Water is in play on every hole. Narrow and challenging,

Nice course
First time playing the Dunes. Short, challenging, and convenient. Some of the greens had damage, but were very playable. Will be back next year.

We like this this course, reason : it is beautiful course with wildlife... alligators, birds etc... For us, it is ok , for someone it is bit too short but not easy , lot of water hasards etc.

Watery Grave
The Dunes is a very nice course an it's well kept. Water comes into play on 16 holes. This course is not a slicers friend since there is water to the right on many holes. Club rental includes 2 sleeves of balls. The average golfer will need them all. The front 9 is easier than the back. Enjoy

xtra fee
the greens were not nearly as well off as those of the practice area ...there has been a lot of rain, and so not too much of a surprise ...it's " off season" and so improvements are being made and at $10.00 for a hot deal can not be beat ...be advised you do add an additional 6 dollar fee for the toll bridge ...still very much worth it !
We sure do have plenty of wildlife - hopefully you were able to enjoy the wildlife from the middle of the fairway! Thank you for the five-star review!
