Biggest “wild” gator I’ve ever seen. Yes that’s my buddy’s ball close to his head and no he didn’t go get it! Photo submitted by volsfan32119 on 01/12/2025

Awesome Layout and Conditions
Played on a cold morning in Florida (well it was in the 50s/60s). Think the cold kept the locals away so our four ball was allowed off early. Had friendly welcome at pro shop and the starter. Course was in great condition. Greens rolled smooth and fast The 4 of us enjoyed the course design and had a fun round. It was nice not to be rushed by anyone behind us and the 3 ball In front stayed about a hole ahead for the whole round Nice bar for a beer afterwards
Excellent
Checking in was great . So kind and nice.
The courses is fantastic
Nice course
Beautiful course. Lots of nature. Greens in great shape. Only complaint is the t boxes need some work.
Good day at course
The course played well. The fairways and greens had a few dried out spots, but it didn’t really affect the play. The greens were fast. Pace was quick once a slower group let us through.
GREAT Outdoors!
Nice range, very nice people and facilities. It takes several hours to complete 18 holes.
Windy day at Great Outdoors.
The course is in good shape and most greens are good. Some areas do need attention, burned out or rough. Windy day makes this course a little tougher, it is spread out and winds through the RV resort.
Relaxing round of Golf
A relaxing day of golf on a well maintained course that is not overtaxing your ability but requires you to pay attention. Greens were well maintained. Our foursome plan to play it again.
In good shape, fast greens.
Overall the course is good, it has a couple of rough spots on greens but not bad. The course is spread out, winds through the park development. Windy day, good company, fun to play.
Slow players not fun.
The course is in good shape, greens are rolling fast and true, fairways have dried out, t-boxes could be better. Overall good shape, fun course as holes are spread out.
4-some had no one in front, were taking way too much time to play their shots and putt out, we waited from the 3rd hole on. A ranger would help.
nice course
This course is very well maintained, and greens are nearly perfect. Actually, easy to get to as it it straight east on HWY 50 from the Bithlo area. They do team you up to make foursomes so you may be playing with golfers you don't know. The residents tend to play very slowly and once the snowbirds come in, I don't have 5 hours to watch other people play
Bumped tee time
I had a reservation for 10:28 and was delayed apparently by a group of residents who decided to just show up and have a tournament. On the first tee, we encountered 12 carts on the hole and knew we were in for a miserably long day. I found the course to be in great shape with the greens running fast and some more difficult to read than others. Fairways were lush but a big spongy. Balls didn’t run out much, plugged a few times. All in all, it was a long day but I liked the course and would recommend playing it. Just be wary of the residents elbowing you out…
