Biggest “wild” gator I’ve ever seen. Yes that’s my buddy’s ball close to his head and no he didn’t go get it! Photo submitted by volsfan32119 on 01/12/2025

Great shape
Course was in great shape. Fun to play. Great loop!
Out and back debate
The course is brand new. They had reopened a few months ago after redoing everything. Tea boxes, fairways and greens. Drainage is improved. The course itself was fantastic.
We played on a memorial day weekend after a tournament.
Unfortunately, this is an out and back course so there is no returning to the clubhouse after nine holes. In the past, they had a card attendant on the 10th hole who could offer drinks and food. This was not the case when we played. The coolers were stocked with the water, which was excellent. But, there was no car girl rounding or any ability to get food or drink at the 10th hole. This sucked. Also, when we finished and were ready to go to the restaurant to get a drink, they were closed. This sucked as well. I understand it was memorial day but they should have thought about this. If you play this course, I would bring a full cooler with food and drinks so that you are not stuck like we were. The course would’ve been much more enjoyable with some amenities because it was quite hot with feels like temperatures of 100° and a little refreshment could’ve rejuvenated the game.
Great course. Good layout. But you have to weigh the options when you are playing an out and back course like this.
I will come back, but certainly will prepare better next time.
Slow play
We were waiting all day on every Tee and had to quit on the 11th hole due to lightning, and as we drove by the groups ahead of us, there were five holes open ahead of one group that was entirely holding up the golf course and playing at a five hour plus round pace. The Ranger was there the whole time it did nothing it’s a shame to ruin a beautiful day.
Great renovaciones
You did a wonderful job renovating. the greens were challenging and beautiful.
Incredible greens, great fairways, great tee boxes and great staff.
First Round after-hours reopened
Course reconditioning was impressive. Enjoyed my round played mostly as a single and scored my best round since before Covid.
Best course on the Space Coast
With recent rains, the course is fantastic. Lush with quick true greens . A great deal with off season prices
Best course condition I’ve played all year out of 9 courses. Greens immaculate. Great fairways. Saw deer, rabbits, gators, cranes, birds, people grilling in their backyards. Bobby, the starter, is a true gentlemen and great chat. Paired with two members of the community who were very welcoming and hospitable. Allowed me to enjoy the course and the experience. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name, but the lady was very enthusiastic and welcoming in the pro shop. Fantastic and serene atmosphere on all holes.
Great Renovation
Overall great renovation of the course to give it a bright future. Greens were very firm, maybe just not broken in yet or due to the drought. Putting on those different tiers, the putts really didn’t break like you would normally read them. Great course for the price you pay. One of the best in the area, hands down
First Time Back After Course Reopened
The makeover or the course while it was closed has brought Great Outdoors condition up to one of the top 5 in the county. I plaiyed the first 12 holes at a pace of a 2.5 hour round until I caught up to a fouresome that was being held up for 15 minutes on every tee box by the foresome in front of them. My round was 35 hours but I realy enjoyed it since my score was by far the best I've had sincebefore Covid.
Greens, tee boxes and fairways in excellent condition.
This is the first time my golf buddy and I have played this course. All fall and winter we have been playing golf in the Vero Beach area on courses where the grass has been really dried out especially around the greens. Great Outdoors was a nice change from that. It is in almost pristine condition. It took me a bit of getting use to chipping on thick soft grass again. Nice lay out on the course with some very interesting lay outs on some holes that were challenging. We are looking forward to playing it again.
