Biggest “wild” gator I’ve ever seen. Yes that’s my buddy’s ball close to his head and no he didn’t go get it! Photo submitted by volsfan32119 on 01/12/2025

Tom
Great condition since the rework of the course last year. Best condition of course within the 50 mile radius that I play.
Fantastic!!
Fantastic layout, Fantastic service and the course is in phenomenal condition.
The renovations are incredible. They don’t seem to be mowing the rough so don’t miss the fairways or you’re gonna have a tough time. We had to claim gallery rule a few times after losing balls in the rough. The changes have made the course even more challenging and fun to navigate.
BEST COURSE IN AREA
This is the best course in the Titusville area. It was closed last summer for "refurbishing" and opened again right after the first of the year. The course is in excellent condition. The greens are superb condition and roll very true. Hopefully the deals will keep coming because it is worth it.
Noticeable Improvements
We play this course every time we're in the area, this being our sixth. Truly, the year of shutdown was a good thing as tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens were all in minimal need of TLC.
In addition, several areas of brush-covered rough have been cut down. You can now find your ball, but you may not be able to hit out of it. And still there are no refreshments, only restrooms, between #9 & #10 as there is no "clubhouse" turn.
We've always appreciated the change in scenery as you meander through the Premiere RV & Golf Resort featuring tall homes with attached RV storage and traditional vacation homes.
So, with improved tee box positioning, wider fairways with less rough, and consistent greens Great Outdoors is even more appealing.
We will be back.
Awesome course
Last year's renovations hits the mark! Greens are awesome! Fairways 4 out of 5 I'm sure in time they will be a 5! There is no comparison to any other course around.
Summertime round...HOT
Course was in good shape. The rough was up higher than normal but there has been a lot of rain the past few weeks. Greens a touch slower than normal but it's summertime and good to protect them hence it's hot season.
But this time…
Love this course. Play it almost every Sunday but this time was kind of off putting. Going from hole one to the second you have to cross a road. When we got to the second tee box the community patrol guy had driven his car right up behind us and came out with “ you guys want me to ruin your good golf day and give you all a $50 fine for not coming to a complete stop at the road?” Everyone held there tongue. He was waiting there to harass golfers. Otherwise course is great. Greens almost flawless
Needs time to develop
Overall course was good but new greens need time to mature a bit. A few seem like they were over engineered and are better suited to have a clowns mouth_ didn’t help that the Marshall we met on the first hole was a total jerk to us.
Everything was great minus the Cart Service
Beautiful course, amazing layout and great amenities.
Sheryl at the front desk was incredible to help us out. She let us know there wasn't a traditional "turn" so we bought a 6-pack before teeing off. Fast forward 1.5 hours when we interact with the cart girl who immediately becomes stand offish when we say we already got beers and just wanted hot dogs. "you hurt my feelings." I get you're trying to be cute and make a sale but we bought a couple beers from her as well and she still wouldn't let it go. Insufferable interaction that just made the entire rest of the day annoying. Just a childish interaction that could have been avoided with someone with even a small level of hospitality knowledge.
For the record it would have been fine if the "turn" was at the clubhouse. You end up just taking a massive loop and never seeing cart service again.
Friendly staff
Interesting course, not too difficult as long as you stay in the fairway because the roughs are Bermuda and the ball disappears. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating.
Great course
You don’t go here for the fancy clubhouse or amenities. You go here for a great layout and great conditions. Course underwent some renovations in 2024 and is now in pristine condition. Zero flaws across 18 greens. Fairways in great shape. No complaints about the rough except that you’re in it. Hate to give up my local hidden gem but they deserve all the credit for their efforts since the renovation.
Love this course
Always an enjoyable time at the Great Outdoors and this time was no different. The tee boxes were a little weird as it appears they aerated them and they are just coming back together. Greens were slow which was new for this course but rolled true. Rough was thick and balls we’re lost!!!
Be Aware of the speed trap !!!
BE AWARE of the speed trap....
I cant believe they want to steal additional money from people trying to support them with their speed trap. The 15mph zone extends unnecessarily for a very long time as you leave or enter the restaurant / golf course area. There are a lot of people that have complained about a large ticket because they sped up to 35mph too soon or didn't slow down fast enough for the 15mph.
The extremely overweight wanna-be power hungry security officer that sits in the trees at the 15mph speed trap definitely gets off on making people ask for his leniency while he still gives you a $50 - $100 ticket.
Also, what he says goes, there is no judicial review or a way to contest the ticket. Doesn't sound like America to me!
He has ZERO legal powers and you are not legally obligated to pull over or show him any identification. Please note that he is legally responsible for your safety and health if you do pull over because of his flashing red lights. If something happens to you, you should seek out a lawyer for negligence.
I would think that the Sherriff's Dept would be very concerned about allowing a situation that makes people doubt whether to pull over for flashing lights.
