Amazing Golf Course
So my brother and I splurged for our birthday and played the gold course. It is in perfect shape. The round ended up being backed up a bit so to compensate they let us out on the blue monster! Wow what an experience. Again course is in perfect shape. Also have to give a shout out to the staff! Super friendly, helpful and made this experience all the more enjoyable! The only bad thing is for the average golfer it’s very pricy so won’t be able to play there often ☹️. But would recommend anyone who loves the game to definitely put this course on your bucket list.
Well manicured
Course was in excellent shape. The layout is fantastic.
Perfection
5 star all-around from conditions to staffing. Friendliest staff out there. Conditions are second to none in the area. Well worth the price.
Beautiful course
It was my first time playing i was lucky toha e a chance to play the course look amazing the same for staff all the restrictions where applied i confident and safe to play and get out in this pandemic time
It is the best course i played
Great staff the course is in perfect condition the green are fast but in great condition for sure i will play again
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Every aspect of the course was perfect.....
tee boxes
fairways
sand
grass around green'greens
Wish every course was this well manicured.
Played as a 2 some with separate carts due to Wuhan virus. Finished in 3.5 hours because we are hacks.
Course is very difficult.
Trouble always lurks from tee lined fairways to water along the other side.
Will go back for sure. Paid $70 nd thought it was reasonable..
On another note, the r=driving range IS OPEN and included with the coat of the round.
Valet is closed for now, walk from self parking to the back of the clubhouse is somewhat long....so be prepared.
no response
my round was canceled due to the county wide lockdown because of the chinese virus. i used a coupon to pay for this round. i tried to contact customer service at golfnow to get my coupon refunded. however golfnow does not have a support email, nor a chat online, nor do they answer the phone.
very bad
Very hard
I’m a bogey golfer to begin with and if u are don’t expect bogey golf it is very hard. It’s not uncommon to hit a perfect drive and end up with doubles and triples. Very hard around greens with sand and water protecting throughout the course. That being said it’s well maintained so no issues there. I would say it’s for skilled golfers who can work the ball and know how to spin it cause shots that may be required are over traps to a shallow green with water behind
This course is suited for all skill levels
Fantastic course challenging for the higher handicappers yet can yield some birdies to send u home happy. Love the 6/6/6 pars it’s unique and keeps the round shorter
A day out at Trump National
We live in the Florida Keys and anytime we have friends visiting who love golf the way we do, we try and make it a special day and that of course, it has to be a day of golf they will talk with their grandchildren about. I must say that our 18 weren't all good but we did have a good time. The silver fox is an awesome course and...I actually got my ball close to the hole on the little island green. It was fun. The staff couldn't be more attentive and our day was perfect. I highly recommend it.
Best course there!
Silver Fox could be my favorite of the four courses at Trump Doral, it may even be the most challenging if you can believe that. Great layout, condition, ambiance. Highly recommend.
Great Faclity!
Trump Doral is a great golf resort. Gold course today in great condition, challenge, pace and service. Highly recommend all courses at Trump Doral!
Great course but not commensurate with price
I had to try the blue monster from growing up watching Doral. It's worth seeing in person compared to the usual TV angles you used to see for instance on the 18th. The course looks very different in person visually (as it often does). The course was in excellent condition, and the staff are very friendly and attentive (only minor problem was a long delay waiting for the bag at the end of the day). However, what struck me about the course itself was that it didn't particularly stand out compared to other good Florida courses. The scenery is the typical Florida setup, for golf amenities, having a range you can't hit a driver on but yet you pay 450 dollars is absolutely ridiculous. This isn't pebble beach in terms of vistas or golf history. Certainly there are much better courses you can play for less all over the country, extreme examples being Torrey Pines or Bethpage Black, but there are of course other easily comparable courses that are half the price of the blue monster. For instance out of state Trump ferry point in NYC is a more interesting golf course I'd say and has better views for half the price. If the tournament were still here, maybe the draw would be stronger, but as memories of that fade more and more I just can't recommend this course at it's current price point. You can find equally good or better ones for less, and since I'll probably never seeing a tour pro hitting a drive on 18 in competition any time soon I'm just left with more of a check box filled than remembering it as one of those top few places you'll play in your life.
This is a great course. Some of the best e have played in FL
Highly recommend it
