Trump National Doral Miami - Silver Fox Course

About
The Silver Fox Course (formerly known as Jim McLean Course) is one of five 18-hole courses at Trump National Doral Miami. The courses offer a good game for players of any skill level. Unlike the Gold Course at the resort, the Silver Fox Course does not follow a traditional Floridian layout. There are elevated tee boxes and greens and narrow, rolling fairways. The golf course features an interesting variety of holes, short and long. Water hazards come into play on 16 holes of the 18 holes and there are also bunkers situated throughout. The course's signature hole is the 14th, which has an island green.

Not worth it.
Overall the course is nice, but not for the price. Obviously your paying for the "trump national" name. With range being closed, holes being unplayable and bunkers washed out. I would expect a course to not open or reach out and relay the information. anyways thats my review.
Would recommend this course
We got a hot deal witch made it outstanding value. Pace of play was great .we were a two ball took us 3 hours 30 minutes. Greens we’re out standing. Club house is fantastic. Only downside is the parking valet only witch costs about 32 dollars. No need we don’t think. The course was Silver Fox, which we thought was a good but fair test. Would definitely play again.
Decent course, very slow, no Marshals, not worth the money. Over a mile away from Clubhouse. Poor condition residential area.
Great golf course!
We had a great experience, the golf course is beautiful and the maintenance is amazing.
Not Worth $200
Upon arriving, greeted by valet staff. I was surprised that it costs $35 for valet or $28 self parking. I chose to valet since the cost wasn’t too much higher. Check in was seem less. Practice range was average. Putting green was much different than the actual greens. Pace of play started out good then slowed significantly on the back nine. Players in front of us weren’t keeping up with the group in front of them. Not a single ranger was seen. I called the pro shop to ask if a ranger could come but no one showed up. I wouldn’t recommend playing Silver Fox.
Pace of Play
The pace of play was unbearable. Went off at noon, standing on the 12th tee box at 3:15 pm, I packed it in. No ranger pushing pace of play. Greens were bumpy growing back in. Layout was nice on the Silver course. With the other 2 courses closed and Blue Monster just being punched, you have to have a ranger out there for pace of play.
Great course
I was worth playing! The property is amazing. We were greeted right away by the valet and he set the tone. He was amazing, but the rest of the staff was just average. I also didn’t know they had just freshened up the course about a month ago and the greens were a bit rough!
Great layout and condition.
The Silver Fox is a very challenging golf course in great condition including true rolling greens. Pace of play was fast, slightly under 3.5 hours. Staff is always prompt and courteous, overall facility very clean with nice ambiance. With all said lower prices would be nice.
Absolutely perfect
Beautiful course, tough but fair, well groomed fairways and greens, and punishing rough.
