Red Tiger - Doral
Staff was very friendly and welcoming, the starter was very relaxed about getting out on the course and enjoying the day. Course was very playable and greens were running quick and true. Overall, it was great and i found it to be a treat!
Only thing was self-parking fee of $20 which i was surprised about!
An annual treat
I have played the red tiger several years ago and was in the gallery for an LIV tournament last year. The Doral layouts are all wonderfully maintained did the red tiger again and got a superb deal with rewards I had accumulated. Starter lett me out early; staff. Very friendly and helpful. Some people complain about the valet parking charge. I just wrote it off as part of the price of admission with two arthritic knees. It was worth it for me. Course was as good if not better shape than when I last played it. Various tees allow you to choose your skill level greens rolled true. Not too difficult. Not too fast. Fairways were excellent. Doral is an old club course from the the days of Jackie Gleason and now it is a golf resort and convention center. It is a true Oasis surrounded by commercial and industrial businesses
Rainy South Florida Day
What can I say? This course was amazing. The entire setup was great. We had a downpour ridden afternoon round and the course held up beautifully. It was a tough but fair layout with a lot of risk/reward tee shots. The amenities were great.
Greens aireted
Great course but front 9 greens were airated and unpleasant to putt… rest of the course in great shape
Challenging but very intriguing course.
While not the longest course by any means, the course offered a ton of tempting challenges that had a good payoff if executed correctly. It also had many areas to get yourself in trouble. I would recommend it. The conditions were above average for my expectations.
Great course
High course and clubhouse. Great manicured fairways and green, green not as fast I expected but good. I played at Silver fox but had to check in at main clubhouse which is BlueMonster Clubhouse. 8 minutes from clubhouse to 1st hole so make go early. Expect to pay $20 self parking or $32 Valet Parking. Quite experienced, will come back..
