Trump National Doral Miami
About Trump National Doral Miami
Located nearly adjacent to Miami International Airport (MIA), this resort has seen considerable investment under the current ownership of Trump Golf, including the renovation of the Blue Monster, Golden Palm and Red Tiger golf courses by architect Gil Hanse. The Blue Monster's long run of PGA Tour events still resonates today with golf travelers.Facts

It was pure
It was a great course. For the price I thought it would be a little nicer, but still really awesome!
Off Fairway
Good course however not friendly when you miss the fairways. Lots a few balls in the think grass by just rolling off the fairways. Reminded me of when I play at ADGC just after the championship. Not enjoyable unless you’re a pro level and have ball spotters. Shot over my HC for that reason.
Billy H
Good course in excellent condition with friendly and professional staff.
Pace of play good until 4 ball refused to allow our 2 ball through so missed a hole and moved on.
Issue with 3 teenagers entering the course and playing the 14 th using their own clubs, then started hitting balls off the green taking divots. Not what you expect from a premier golf resort. Security required in this area of the course.
Spoiled another wise enjoyable round.
Nearly $800 for a 4some and then $32 for Parking
Course in good shape except the greens were a little hairy. The started told some "libtard" jokes which seemed inappropriate as not everyone thinks Trump is the bees knees.
Most appalling is that after paying nearly $800 for our foursome, they charged us $64 for parking. What a rip!
Appropriate for all skills
Doral is great. Range included. Chipping practice area perfect. Fox is a little bit away from clubhouse but layout and variety of tees perfect for all. It's not the blue monster but it's great value around South Florida.
Great Golf
We chose this course to play a better course than a few other courses in the area that we were not impressed with. The Trimp couses and facilities are top notch and given we found a good rate , we were very pleased with course conditions an the Champions Clubhouse after the round. Would not hesitate to come back.
Always A Treat
The Trump Courses are always great and worth playing.
Used to be great
This course used to be amazing but it’s definitely gone down in quality. I played mid day at 1pm and felt like I could not focus on one hole. If it wasn’t a distraction from the greens keepers it was a distraction from the commotion of other golfers with no course etiquette. I even had two separate occasions where people that worked there were yelling across the green to other staff. Unacceptable for the price paid. Staff used to have the courtesy to at least stop while you were teeing off and then proceed after you would hit. I understand they have a job to do and usually it doesn’t bother me but it felt like there was a distraction on every hole. I had another guy on a par three trying to start his engine on his cart a few times, all we could do was laugh about it. It’s a beautiful course and was always at the top of my list, but I won’t be paying that much money to play there any more.
I never write reviews on anything I just wanted to share my experience because they really let me down.
Narrow fairways and lots of water hazards.
Tough course. Bring your A game. First tee is a 10 min cart ride from clubhouse. Always in great condition.
Diamond in the city
I called this a diamond in the city because literally it’s in the heart of Doral. This 880 acre property is by far one of the most beautiful ones I’ve seen. The superintendent obviously takes pride in his work and the people that help him. This course is gorgeous and so fun to play. I definitely am planning to return back to this place and hopefully that soon, need to save up some money so I can play all 4 courses.
Brilliance at its best
Top 10 I have courses I have played in condition and grandeur. If you go in the rough you have to hit a wedge out from wherever you are is the only drawback. Fairways were like carpet and the greens were like velvet but like ice to putt on.
