Solid

The staff was very friendly and track was in great shape for the most part. A couple of things rubbed me the wrong way though. Range balls were included (awesome) but the range mats were terrible. All beat up and muddy. Also, the bathrooms out on the course were closed. Neither are deal breakers. But for it being Disney and a $200 round... at least replace your range mats once and a while!

Fun but…

I like the Disney courses but I wouldn’t consider them ‘memorable.’ The course was decently maintained, and there is a good mix of water and sand. Range balls are included in the price which is nice. Holes 15, 16, 17 and 18 are modified due to nearby road construction which accounts for the reduced greens fee. Course play is 4.5 to 5.0 hours though the layout would indicate a quicker pace. I love Disney and the occasional sound of the Magic Kingdom train’s whistle is great, but feel that the courses are overpriced.

Disney magic

Tees and Fairways are in great shape. Not much rough here. The greens are slow. I don’t like slow greens. Wish I had a solution to problem. They are receptive on approach but I can’t hit it hard enough to get it there.

Great course if right price

Greens ran fine although the grass didn't look great because of some incroachment of what looked like rye grass. Slightly on the slow side, but pretty good overall.

Great layout with interesting holes, pleasant rangers. All together a good day. Prices are quite high.

Lowered rating a bit because of the look of the greens, not the playability.

Feb 2024 - Great Conditions, Tough Layout

Course was in fantastic shape except for several thin spots off the fairways. After playing in the Orlando area for 2 weeks, this was the only course where the greens would hold approach shots. Greens were in great shape and rolled true. My only complaint was the bunker sand inconsistency; sand in some, flour in others. Bring your straight driver if you decide to play this PGA-level design.

A good walk…

This is a nice 9-hole layout that is a good walk…spoiled or unspoiled by the golf. The holes are relatively short, but there are two par fives and plenty of trouble to be found. Pace of play was good. Short waits a a couple holes. Overall fun and interesting layout.

In the distant future the course has potential.

This course being a Disney property you would

expect good to excellent conditions but it was

Quite the opposite. The overall course from fairways

to greens appears to be lacking water for health

grass growing. Putting on the greens was not fun

which everyone knows can be very frustrating. The

Back 9 on hole 17 we learned was under construction

for the past 2 years and it doesn’t look like they are

anywhere close to completion. All that being said for the cost of a round you should consider a different facility.

Disappointed Player!!!!!!!!

Outstanding Staff

First played here in 1971 when it opened. It was a premier course then but the layout is very resort like now There is construction of new hotels and roadways nearby. It's very noisy and seems congested. The front nine is nondescript with the first 3-4 holes near the construction and roadways. The back nine is much more picturesque with 4 holes surrounding a lake finishing with a tough par four 18th hole. The staff is outstanding. The "clubhouse" seems to be somewhat makeshift building with just a simple pro shop, smallish locker room / bath room. The only food is the on course cart and a outdoor walk up type sandwich counter. The course was in respectable shape with the greens being probably a 9 - 10 on the stimp (not fast by any means). We played in 4:20. The pace of play was amazing considering its a crowded resort and long distances from green to tee in some cases. As public tracks go in central Florida it's respectable but better courses within 30 minutes for sure.

Construction and hole rerouting ruins the day

I booked with TeeOff and was not advised of the construction and hole rerouting. Compounding the problem was that the impact was on the last 3 or 4 holes. They actually needed rangers to tell you where to go. You could not enter your score for handicap because it was just unrealistic. You definitely need a laser because your watch won't work and the cart GPS was just difficult to understand. Too bad, because the rest of the course was quite nice and it will be great when finished, but a waste of money and time yesterday.

Very disapointed that TEEoff, Golf Pass did not make a point of highlighting the issue. We were advised by Magnolia the day before about the construction but by then too late to book something else.

Brest golf course

Be careful, the link for the direction to the golf course in the confirmation email is wrong.

Little to no grass; cut too short

Greens were in good condition overall, but fairways were cut way too short. Every shot from the fairway was a "tight lie". Would recommend playing this course when the Bermuda comes back in spring-Summer.
