Disney's Palm Golf Course

Extremely Wet.... Got this Tee Time on a Hot Deal of $75 and it turned out to be the Regular Price for that Day/Time!! I was charged an additional fee for the Hot Deal that did not exist!!

My wife an I were excited to play at a Disney golf course for the first time and even more excited to find such a great deal on GolfNow. Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed in the condition of the course. We live in Southwest Florida and the Disney course was no better than the bottom tier course in our home region. Everything at Disney is always immaculate and we expected the same of their golf course. Next time we are there, we will look for a course off of Disney property.

The course is not easy, but it is fair, and in excellent condition.

Can understand but greens where airated and we were not communicated of it, no water points lacking bathrooms in the course, overall quite poor for such an expensive course

Course was very wet, the wettest I’d ever seen it, surprising considering I had played magnolia and it was bone dry. Made playing the tips even longer with no rollout. Greens had just been punched and sanded, but layout was very nice as usual, have played here in the past before and enjoyed it, a few long and challenging holes (particularly 10 and 11), and some very nice holes from 13 onwards once you open up from the trees.

Very disappointed in the course. My wife went to check us in a was totally ignored until I came in. There were 4 people total. Two guys were helping customers and the other 2 were happy talking to each other.

Then we decided to get a quick bit at the snack shop. I think it was called chip n dales. Two girls working were too happy to chat with each other and again ignored her. I assume everyone working was too busy telling each other about their Saturday night escapades.

The course was cart path only. Sand traps weren’t raked. The rangers made no effort to keep the pace of play moving. I know it rained the day before but this course is alway too wet.

Hard to believe that they once played a PGA tournament on this course.

Great course the front 9 were tough today but made up for it on the back 9. Course was in absolutely great condition with all the rain we’ve had. Only thing bad was the maintenance crew on a par 3 walked off to the side but left their machines running??? Just turn them off till we move on please….

Bag staff at the drop were friendly and welcoming as were the staff in the shop. Range and practice green were ok, except for having to hit from mats. Course conditions were good considering the greens had been punched 2 weeks prior. They had decent speed and rolled fairly true. The tee boxes were a little unkept compared to the fairways. Bunkers were in good shape considering the rain they’d taken in recent days. The lakes on property were covered in a brown film/algae which looked awful considering this is Disney. They had a beverage cart on each nine so we saw them often. The chilled towels on the front were nice considering the heat index was well over 100.

Overall a good experience, but not like playing Disney of years past. If you’ve not played here, it’s worth it at least once. My wife is new to the game so we played here. There are too many other courses in the area for the money.

My dad and I played and were paired with a couple of great guys. The staff were super friendly and the course was challenging. The only negative was that it was HOT, but we expected that.
