Not breath taking
Very underwhelmed with my experience
First I’d like to say that the course is pretty decent
NOT BAD AT ALL ! Just very bland and avg
Except decent for $110 just isn’t worth it
Conditions where avg
Lay out avg except for it’s seems to be built very close to roads and frwys
Pace or play was excellent
Starters are definitely doing their jobs they were friendly enough but also made you feel uncomfortable enough to pick up pace
Pace is monitored on gps and we spend the entire day about 3 mins behind
We were a foursome and they made sure to nicely remind us pretty often
We would catch up then lose pace throughout the day
Lay out is much nicer then magnolia course but still nothing special
Other then Disney logos on carts and Mickey tee box markers it was just a pretty regular course
Range is included in price but range balls were in very bad shape and the range itself is very bare no grass
Over all nothing bad to say about the course except that it is outrageously avg and outrageously priced considering how bland and avg this course is
Nice course
Course was in good shape with a nice layout. Staff was also friendly.
Slow play
5:35 min round. I understand Saturday resort golf but didn’t see any Marshall’s out to help solve the issue.
5:20 minute round
Mediocre course in fair condition but a 5+ hour round with no marshes is unacceptable.
Disney Palm is fair course
Greens were ok. Pace of play poor...waited on every hole. The fairways were good and tees ok. GPS on cars was as much as 20 yards off to the tee on at least 4 holes. Beautiful natural setting with a lot of birds and few animals. Beautiful plants.
Disney perfection
Disney always delivers a happy experience. The staff, clubhouse, practice areas, and course were all exceptional today. The course was challenging with good tree and bunker placements. Greens moved at a good speed for my putting skill and the the concessions were always on time and cold.
Amazing layout and grounds!
Had a great time and really liked the course layout. It seemed like every hole was it’s own course with each one playing to different play styles.
Good shape for late season except tee boxes
We played this in early May and we’re surprised how good the fairways and greens were. However the tee boxes are a bit worn. However we played in 4 hours and ground the course a good challenge.
Changed my reservation
Although I had paid for a reservation at the Disney Palm Course, When we arrived we were told that due to some construction on the Magnolia they operating as a 27 hole facility and that put us off the back nine at Palm and then over to the front 9 at Magnolia. The Palm was in decent shape and pace of play was good...however upon making the turn to the Magnolia we found burnt fairways and Greens were like brown cardboard...very disappointed that we did not get what we paid for. Expected more honesty from Disney.
Great Shape!
I’ve played here several times in the past but not in the last couple of years. To be honest, during the spring break months (March-April) when I’m here the most, the Disney courses are overpriced. By the end of spring break , however, the courses are in great shape and the prices drop significantly. The Palm was in excellent shape in all areas; tees, fairways, roughs, and greens. Greens were quick without being unfairly fast. Pace of play was great at about 4:15. Well stocked pro shop, helpful starter, and attentive cart attendant. Overall, a “magical” experience at “the happiest place on turf”.
This course is amazing.
Nice greens are gently rolling! At every course
I was exciting what would have happened on next my shot or pat. My score was terribly, but l was fun!
Great Resort Course
The Palm course has a great layout and is a fun resort course to play. The conditions were ideal and pace of play was just under 4.5 hrs. Fairways and greens are in great shape. The bunkers have real sand in them, which is most welcomed. Staff was friendly and the beverage cart was seen multiple times on both the front and back nine. With rates for all courses at the high end, I was able to secure a tee time for under $75 ($40 off the standard). Whether you are visiting the Orlando area or are a local resident, the Palm course should be a must play.
