Due to resent airing of the course we were given a generous 40% off, staff were extremely friendly helpful and welcoming, a great course with amazing views, unfortunately we played the morning after a heavy downpour which made the course difficult to play in areas but this didn’t get in the way of a great experience

First played it about 10 years ago, and like all things Disney, Magnolia is a great experience. However, we only played 14 holes due to four getting renovated. Always fun to play a former PGA stop, though. Probably a little pricey but you pay for the Disney “magic” experience.

Was a fun day on the course and it was in pretty good shape, especially since it is about to be closed for a little while. Didn’t really remember that many holes from the previous round. The par 3 sixth hole is the one that has a bunker shaped like Mickey Mouse.

With only 14 holes in play, the rate was discounted from the normal rate. Nearly all the workers were the usual extremely friendly Disney people, but one guy in the pro shop was a little terse with our group. Not sure when the next chance to play Magnolia will be but might again down the road when the entire course is back open.

The major issue I had yesterday was that none of the starters were able to set the cart into handicap mode for me. I had so much trouble navigating the course in a non handicap mode cart. Had to try to remove the cart from restricted areas all round. Seems like someone should be proficient in setting that handicap mode for us that rely on having it set correctly. Otherwise the course and the hit deal was terrific.

For someone who was just out there to have fun , the pace of play was just right for my wife and I . We never felt rushed with the intervals between us and the other golfers was great .

Cart quit on hole 10. Called number to report it and started walking. After walking 3 holes the starter just happened to be riding the course and saw me. He got us another cart. If not for him guess I woulda walked back 9. Other than that all was well.

The Greens are way too Sandy... Not the best conditions

Course conditions are unacceptable for the price charged. I have experienced this on all the Disney courses over the last few years.Way overpriced!!

Playing Lake Buena Vista you almost have no air flow as the course winds through swamps and woods. Now I know why the PGA tour will never come back to Disney

This a very good course that rates at the top of “good” courses. They are working on holes 15, 16, 17 and 18. If after to reno it improves the course then it will be well worth the price. About 25-30% of the tees have many bare spots, but they are level and teeing of was not a problem. The fairways were very good and are kept green and cut short.

You very much need a discount to play this course until all the work is complete and all 18 holes are open. I will be happy to enjoy this course in the near future.

This is our first time playing in this course. The course is maintained very well. This is a very busy course. The staff is very friendly. We can't until the renovation is completed so we can play 18 holes

The staff was quick & professional. My wife's rental clubs were very nice, but affordable, The course was beautiful & challenging. Plenty of sand traps and water obstacles to keep it interesting. Would love to do it again!

Pros....friendly staff, nice layout amongst Disney property and pace of play was decent.

Cons...I haven't played here in 30yrs....and its lost some of its magic. Driving range in pretty rough shape. Practice putting green next to #1 almost unputtable. Just awful condition. A few of the greens need to be redone..I think #15 has disease of some sort.

I know its a resort but if it wasn't for the discount on a hot deal, I would have felt taken by the Mouse.

Nice layout. Enjoyable. Not too tough. With the exception of one green, the course was in great shape. Pace of play could’ve been a little better, but I guess I can’t complain as it ended up being a 4 1/2 hour round.

I’m not sure why people rate this course poorly and expect PGA type conditions on a public course. The course was in great shape and all of the rain this past week will only help. Greens were a little slow but that’s to be expected after aeration. Played at 5:30pm and finished in about 1 hour and 40 minutes. If you have a Disney season pass, be sure to upgrade to the Waterpark and Sports option for only $99 and you get to play this course for free for the remainder of your Disney pass!

As with anything Disney the facilities were good and I was well informed it was only open on 14 holes for maintenance. Start was a little chaotic as the playing partners were missing so ended up a singleton which was okay, but there was a two ball with their child as a passenger in front who were extremely slow and in all truth probably shouldn’t have been on a course this good based on their ability, probably scoring 10+ on each hole. Ranger seemed happy they were there even though they were backing the course up..!
