Greens
They just aerated the greens and fairway did not indicate thus on hot deal. Sand and bumpy as expected. Offered discount to play again before Oct 1st.
Great Course , Good Price, Great Pace
Always a pleasure playing this course, especially in the late afternoon as it's almost like having your own private course. Played 18 hours in 3 hours and the course was in great shape. The greens were in great shape and rolled true.
Good Course, Fair Challenge.
Course was a fair test and in good shape. Obviously paying a premium for its location but had a hot deal that made it worthwhile. Regular price of $109 way too much for this course or King and Bear for $129. would recommend playing either of the two courses at World Golf Village but only as a hot deal. Not worth standard cost of $100+.
Great venue
A challenging course with many challenging holes. The surroundings are beautiful which lends to a relaxing wonderful experience,
Second time playing
The over all course conditions were excellent. Would always come back but pace of play was slow waiting on tees does not help the need for speed is required to enjoy this course better . But don't let that discourage you, well worth the visit
absolutely fantastic.....
Exceeded all my expectations. Just a magnificent layout in absolutely perfect condition. I look forward to coming back.
Just a super nice course
Was totally pleased with the course. Fair but challanging.
Perfect Time
What a great day. We knew it was going to be extremely hot that day. 105 heat index. We saw the beverage cart 5 times, every water cooler had cold water in it and the best was when the ranger gave us the mango scented ice towels. And the golf course is in perfect condition!! Not a blade of grass out of place. Great day!!
What a great experiance
had a great time and played very well. A most play course if you in the area
Great condition
The course and staff were great but the course got backed up. We waited on every tee box for a while. It was not enjoyable. Can't say enough about the condition of the tee boxes, fairways, and greens. Would love to come back, just wish a ranger would have monitored pace a little better.
Beautiful course
Staff was excellent very friendly. Course was exceptional. Great for intermediate players. Would definitely come back
course is in excellent shape..greens are challenging but fair
Had a great experience and will play again. By far one of the best in Florida
Can't expect more
Quality course in near perfect condition. Greens were punched about 2-3 weeks ago, but have recovered well. The fairways are pretty wide, but plenty of trouble on the course. I will be back.
must do list
put this course and the King and Bear on your must play course list
a wonderful day of golf.
Excellent
Course was in excellent condition. Greens were fast and rolled true. The staff were extremely polite and helpful.
Great amenities and very good condition
The condition of the course was very good. Would have rated it excellent but the greens were a few days away from recovering from a June punch. So only a couple were not rolling true. We enjoyed the course and the friendly staff. We will play again this week.
Great course
Ok, so the course is awesome - one of my favorites to play. Nice wide fairways on most holes, nice variety of holes.
The staff however was mediocre at best - when I arrived there was no one at the bag drop which is fine for me I don't mind walking my bag. I get to the clubhouse and have to seek someone out to put my bag on a cart (who wasn't very polite at all). I check in - get my ticket - go to the range then the putting green. After watching a few groups tee off I check with the "starter" to see where I stand - he doesn't even have my down on his last and he claims that the other 3 people I was paired off 'already went ahead and teed of without letting him know.' So I'm thinking great - why are you here then? Meanwhile a twosome had just teed off right in front of me. So I ask him why I wasn't with them? He can't answer. Comes back and says "why don't you go ahead and join them?" So I skip the first hole - drive to the green and let the group know I'm joining them. Rude. The people I played with were fun though so that made it better. For a 'resort course' at the World Golf Hall of Fame they really need to step up their game.
Can't wait to go back
The course was in great shape. The greens had just been punched about a week ago maybe week and a half but they were almost fully grown in. The layouts was really fun compared to king and bear. I felt slammer and squire was easier to score on. Defiantly wanna go back soon!
Very good design and playable for all skill levels.
S&S is a very good course in excellent condition. Greens were recently aerified but were good enough. Good golf course from the back tees for better players but still fair for women and shorter hitters. I've played the course before and will be back again when I'm on vacation in the area.
Course close to being in great shape
Course is great and pace of play was spot on but greens not quite back from being punched . We played 7-5. Give it one more week and it will be incredible.
