World Golf Village

The facilities were very nice and the staff very courteous and friendly. That's the good part. Sand traps were damp and packed down solid as if they are never groomed. Greens were bumpy as if they were never rolled and the holes were ragged around the edges. Maintenance needs to seriously get on the ball. First time playing there and seriously disappointed.

Had overseeded fairways and I ended walking about 5 miles. Though there might have been a discounted rate for such conditions.

Cart girl couldn't tell us how long it would be before she would be back around! Not even an approximation! Ordered 2 dbl Bloody Marys.....$32!!! Are you kidding me?!? I had ordered one inside at lunch and it was about $7-$8. I went in to ask the bartender why the difference, she told me she didn't charge me for a dbl that it should have been $12. She said that the $16 charge was for Ketel One (premium). Ok, I wasn't given a choice. Also, the cart girl's last round was our 7th hole...about 2:00-2:15. But other than that, it was a great round! Staff and bartender were great and the course was beautiful and in great shape!

Excellent course. Even with cart path only the course played very fast. Nice practice facility.

Golf course is excellent. Great condition, interesting to play with a good mix of golf holes and very fair. Lots of water on the course but mostly not in your line of play making it very playable.
5 star treatment from the staff and the apples are tasty !! Got a good discount on "golfnow", on my list of must plays if in the area again.

What a fantastic day at King and Bear inside World Golf Village. The staff helped me from the 1st minute I arrived. Course conditions were great and they even over seeded a few days earlier. Only tee boxes and fairways were done, so the greens are absolutely perfect. It was cart path only, but it was an enjoyable walk. I hit balls in the AM, played 18 with 2 players from NYC for the gator/dawg football game. Had lunch then went out and practiced some more at their short game facility. Lunch? How about fresh Mahi fish tacos w/sweet potatoe fries and topped with a homemade dipping sauces. Delicious.Period. Server Linda.Keeper.
I have been living in the area a long time and somebody is doing something right here.

Course in good shape. over-seeded fairways made cart path only necessary. Staff very friendly.

Found the course to be in pristene condition. Everyone was very helpfull and courtious. Greens were challenging put ran true. Highly recomend this course.

Great course, only unfortunate thing was the course was being overseeded and carts were on cart path only. Cart paths are about 20 to 40 yards off fairway so it was a long day with a lot of walking.

This was my first time playing this course and it is a great layout. My only complaint is that I played the day after a heavy rain and the course was soaked and it was cart path only. The greens were perfect and fast. there is also water on almost every hole that made it very challenging. You may want to use 3 wood instead of driver on a few holes to be safe.

This course is a must play, challenging yet fair. Although it was cart paths only due to 2 inches of rain the night before, the course was in great shape. Fast greens, immaculate fairways. Cant wait to play it again !!

Not pristine - but this is October in Florida.
Nice design with risk reward and only "fair punishment" if you terribly mishit or make a foolish choice.
No apples when we played :-)
Staff is very pleasant and "down to earth."
Altogether a really good value at the low rate I got using golfnow.com.
Everyone should play here at least once if you are in the area!

Well let me state how professional World golf village was. On arrival found out Slammer and Squire course was cart path only. They in return allowed us to play the King and Bear course for no extra charge. We had a great time and the course was in super shape!

The course is well maintained. The layout demands good shot making ability. Staff were freindly and the starter was extremely helpful explaining all the course features.
The only bad point was they were overseeding and it was cart paths only. Try the iced apples on 0ne and ten tee ....Great touch.

Fairways were in good shape, however greens are poorly maintain and for the price i expected better service

I mistakenly booked the tee time twice. When I go confimations, I called Golfnow immediately and the personnel were just absolutely wonderful and courteous. They were able to cancel one tee time for me. What a great service to their customers.

Good pace of play, well maintained course, some challenging holes and interesting features.
Don't expect to get food after 3pm as kitchen then closed.

Super friendly staff and starter. Complimentary apples on first tee and nice touch.

Well manicured, challenging course, unable to complete round due to bad weather but, pace was great no holdups! Very friendly course staff and pro shop but, need more restaurant staff.

This course is beautiful! Staff very friendly. Chilled towels and apples. Quite an experience ... had a great day. Our two boys had great time as well. A+
