They do have a bag drop off. All you need to do is drop off your things then park your car...
Amazing Course. Friendly Staff. Amenities are spread out too far and have to carry alot of belongings a far distance.
Great Course! Friendly Staff, but amentities are so far spread out. You have to carry all your things from the parking lot to the clubhouse, which is about 300 yards away. Then, if you want to hit golf balls, its a solid 5 minute drive with the golf cart. You need to arrive at a minimum 1 hour prior to tee time to get set up.
Very nice course. Very difficult. My son and I were paired up with another twosome. We had a great round.
Very poor condition, not worth the $$
Course condition was very poor. Sand on greens, bunkers untouched for months, fairways not kept up etc. To pay $80 on the weekend is at least twice as much as it’s worth.
Value Simply Doesn’t Meet Expectations
A friend and I were very excited to play this course, having lived in the area for quite some time. When we arrived, staff was friendly and courteous. No problems there. Practice range was adequate, but pretty far from the first tees. Practice green was maintained. This, unfortunately, was not representative of the rest of the course. Fairways were okay, not great but expected from the weather. Drainage is a major issue around the course, especially on the fairway edges. The greens were atrocious. Some partially diseased, most damaged due to lack of divot repairs and care. The greens were also very “furry” and inconsistent, and fringes were overtaking the edges. For the money we paid, it was quite a disappointment. Not sure I’ll be playing the longer course, as we just can not justify the lack of value.
What a view
Played 3 days in a row. Great layout and friendly staff. But the green speed is slow and condition of green needs improvement. Bunkers do not have much sand.
Expensive for what you get
This course overall is a good course. Definitely expensive for what you get, especially when you add the $20 fee to even come in the park. The golf course needs to figure this part out because it is ridiculous to expect golfers to pay on top of what they are already paying. Terrible marketing to new players. Other than that terrible aspect the fairways are in good shape. Greens are decent with a few missed ball marks. They need to tend to weeds on the green and definitely the bunkers. One was filled with water and for that price is unacceptable. Overall the course is a 7/10 but for the price it is a 5/10
What happened?
I’ve played this course a few times. Last time being over a month ago and normally I have great things to say about this course, but what happened?
I don’t consider myself a picky golfer by any means, however when I spend over $90 for a round ($73 for 18 + $20 park entrance fee) I expect the course to be in great shape. I went out this afternoon and MULTIPLE tee boxes where half sand and MULTIPLE greens were sand or had dead spots. Again, I’m sorry to be so critical, however when I pay $93 for a round, the conditions (in my opinion) were unacceptable. Will not be playing this course again until I hear of improvement. There is WAY better value to be found elsewhere...
I would like to say the service was helpful, but at this moment, it’s all about you’re gonna get from this place.
Horrible
Buyer beware!!!!
20 bucks for parking
Pace of play absolutely awful
Ladies behind us kept hitting into us
Course conditions lacking big time!!!!!
Don’t waste your money
Fun round
I felt fairways were quite fair not too narrow, gave you some room. Beautiful setting and layout, greens we're consistent and good speed. Overall very good experience and will play it again.
first impressions
It was fine. As i entered the park i was charged $20 just to enter the park to get to the golf course. I know the park needs money but I feel that charge to someone who is already going to spend more money than the ordinary visitor is over the top. Places like Lake Lanier don't do that.
Interesting and engaging design
I enjoy courses which make you think. This one does and I feel several strokes will come off my score next time due to familiarity. My only gripe would be lack of yardage markers on course. Only a 150 stake was usually present. Had fun. Definitely recommend.
