Great condition and beautiful scenery
Played Lakemont with very early tee time. The course was in great condition and the staff was great. Beautiful scenery too!
Overall great experience.
The course was in great shape in the heat of the summer. All of the staff extremely friendly. Pace of
Play GREAT. I would recommend.
Good time on Stonemount. Course was in excellent shape except for the bunkers but they did have an inch of rain the night before. Not the fault of the course The staff in the pro shop helped me out when I broke my pitching wedge on the practice tee before the round. Good deal and a new pitching wedge. See the friendly drink cart lady 5 times during the round. Very few geese on Stonemount.
July 4th round
Always enjoy playing either side of StoneMtnGolf. Lake mount was our choice this time. Just for the views and there is water in play so it’s a little more challenging than stonemount. But I’m play either side with no problem at all. All course are in good shape top to bottom. Well worth the price if you get a good deal... remember 20.00 to get in park if you don’t have pass(40.00 for the year) GET A PASS
Nice day on the links
We played a great round of golf at Stone Mountain Lakemont. Nice staff in the clubhouse, Great practice facility to hit some balls and a challenging course in beautiful shape. Tee, boxes, fairways, greens all top notch. Some fairways were a bit narrow so my driver probably should have stayed in the bag a few times but , oh well. It was hot on the course but that's GA in July. There was water out on the course here and there and a cart person roaming about. We were paired with a 4th that was a good guy and we all enjoyed our day.
Beware of the Geese
The golf course was in good shape. Played Lakemount. Course management needs to get a handle on the Canadian geese. Goose dropping where everywhere on holes 1-6. Hole 6’s green was filled with goose dropping. We were unable to putt because of it. Back nine was free of goose droppings. Friendly staff was on hand. We be back to play again but will play Stonemount until the goose issue is resolved
Over all good course
You have to pay 20 to get into the park. So whatever you pay know you will have to pay 20 more. Very good course and views.
Great course to play , great features.
My wife and I had a great time , great features, very good people working at the course.
It was fun
The course is in excellent shape, would love to play it again. It can be a challenging course but fair. Had a large group of guys out on a Sunday morning, they all enjoyed the course. Would be nice if golfers didn't have to pay the $20 parking fee, especially when you have a large group, but it wouldn't keep me from coming back.
Spectacular views
Great challenging course. Greens were a wee bit inconstant ,from a speed perspective, but we loved the layout and will come back for more.
Great challenging course
Excellent layout in hilly terrain, course in very good condition, at times challenging but was enjoyable from white tees, Very friendly and courteous staff. They have two courses, We played Lakemont but I would love to go back and try stone mountain course. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in playing little bit tough but beautiful course.
