Beautiful course
The course and surroundings were beautiful. I always enjoy playing golf in the mountains. I was a bit surprised at how minimal the elevation changes were on this course. It was an enjoyable experience and everyone was very friendly and nice. I highly recommend checking it out.
Brasstown Valley
Brasstown Valley is a great value. Nice layout and staff very friendly. Good service all around.
Top 5 for me so far
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Brasstown Valley. The setting is beautiful and the layout shows off the views. The design itself is fun and interesting with some forced carries, well-placed water and lots of bunkers. The greens had been punched days before so they were sandy but rolled fast and true. Clubhouse is very nice and the selection inside is pretty good.
I have two complaints: First, most of the bunkers could use some love. They look good from afar but up-close not so much. My only other negative is I felt rushed by the starter. I was 45 minutes early and he tried to send me off asap before I rolled one practice putt or swung a club after a 2 hour drive.
A Beautiful Day to Play
Have played here many times, but not in 18 months. For late August, it was a beautiful day to play, low 70’s, sunshine, and light breezes. Course was in great shape. Greens were smooth, and rolled true. Fairways were lush, and rough was a bit long, but manageable. The only downside were the bunkers. There are a considerable number of bunkers at Brasstown Valley, so there would be a lot of maintenance to keep them up. Some fairway bunkers are a mix of dirt and sand instead of just sand. And, there were footprints everywhere in the bunkers. I detest lazy golfers who no longer rake bunkers. PLEASE rake the bunkers if you have to hit out of them. Otherwise, my friend and I enjoyed a great day for golf.
fabulous course
this course was in pristine condition. The fairways were true and the greens manicured. quite possibly the best golf course experience I've ever had. This rating extends to the staff which was both professional and hospitable.
The elevation changes presented some unique challenges, truly enjoyed the experience.
Beautiful day at Brasstown Valley
Course layout is challenging and the course was in great shape. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Golf
Always love this course but prices are reaching “ i probably will not play here as often”. Need a senior rate.
Nice course
Course conditions were great. Links style course makes for several holes that seem pretty much alike.
Great job
Everyone was very helpful. The course was in good condition. They explain to us that it just been aerated, but you couldn’t tell. It was awesome. Can’t wait to play it again.
Great Course
Beautiful course in the mountains, everything you want, very well managed and taken care of… beautiful! Highly recommend!
Plays long
Course in very good condition. Some wet spots. Wind was a factor on some holes. Very challenging course that seemed to play longer than the yardage. Got a great rate for our round. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Beverage cart came by often. Look forward to coming back.
