About Callaway Resort & Gardens
Callaway Resort & Gardens is a 2,500-acre retreat in Pine Mountain, Georgia, about an hour's drive from Atlanta. The property was founded in 1952 and today features 36 holes of golf and many more natural and outdoor activities on the grounds to explore. The resort is home to the Lake View and Mountain View 18-hole golf courses, both wind and tumble through the rugged and forested terrain. The Callaway Resort & Gardens is set on Robin Lake, which has a beach area, while there is a robust events calendar bringing arts and entertainment to the property. In addition to golf, there are three pools onsite, workshops, hiking, tennis and a spa. The Treetop Adventure is a series of ziplines and bridges in the trees, and there is also a large butterfly center and birds of prey exhibit. For restaurants, there is a multitude of dining areas ranging from fine to casual, beach and poolside fare. Accommodations range from rooms and suites in The Lodge and Spa; more relaxed cottages with full kitchens and fireplaces; large and upscale villas; and the more affordable Mountain Creek Inn.Facts

Great hole! Photo submitted by dongolf0123 on 04/21/2014
Stay in fairway
We all know it’s important to keep our hits in the fairway but just off the fairway The first cut can allow you to lose your ball in plain open sight the grass just sucks the ball into the ground. There’s nothing I hate worse than having a ball that is in place and just off the fairway and you can’t find your ball. Other than that an absolutely great day greens were in great condition and really enjoyed my time at the course
Beautiful Course
First time playing the Lakeview Course! Very beautiful course, but you must keep it in the fairway! Will definitely be playing again!
The course is in good shape the scenery is beautiful
Course good but......
Overall the course was pretty good. Has changed since the PGA days. Pace was acceptable given the resort nature of Callaway. Greens had just been punched and were very inconsistent. No warning on here or at course. My only complaint.
Need Course Rangers
Too many slow players created a long day. At least the course was in great shape.
Great track
A friend of mine told me to play the Mountain course, which I dud and loved. But I reallyEnjoyed the Lake View course with all the risk/reward holes. It was just as scenic and in great shape.
Highly recommend this track.
Another Great Round at Callaway
This is probably my most enjoyable course that I play often. It is always in great condition and its like hitting off carpet in the short grass! Greens are most always in excellent condition even though we have had no rain this summer. If you want to play where they are great views, friendly people and an awesome golf course this is your place.
Great course
I played here on 7/9/20, we had a 9:20 time and were hooked up with two other people. But when I checked in, I was told if I wanted to play only with my son, we could go out at 9:10.
Course is in excellent shape, the rough is pretty high, so if you miss the fairway, it’s easy to lose your ball. Greens in great shape but a bit slow. Bunkers were consistent throughout.
Pace of play was great. All in all, great Mountain course, I play the lake view course tomorrow.
Solid Course
Small greens challenge the grounds crew given the volume of play but the greens are still respectable. This is still a solid course that is fun to play.
Beautiful course
Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Relaxed atmosphere with
